  • The departures for Australia are given subject to revision, as the Customs emigration returns do not include all passengers who go on board without booking. The numbers may eventually be increased somewhat after receipt of returns from the shipping companies.

† It is important to mention that, in the returns from which this table is made up, immigrants to the colony are all counted at the first port of arrival, and emigrants at the final port of departure.

Land Transfer Act Notices.

APPLICATION having been made to register a dealing affecting Lease No. 709, THE QUEEN to WILLIAM NICHOLS, of Otakeho, Bushman, and a statutory declaration of the loss of the original lease having been lodged with me, I hereby give notice that I shall dispense with the production of the said lease, and register such dealing at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 11th day of July, 1891.

  1. JACOB JOSEPH.—Lot 2 and part of Lot 1 of land reclaimed by Provincial Government, City of Wellington (Willis Street). In occupation of J. Myers and Others.

  2. AARON HOWE.—Part of Sections 173 and 174, City of Wellington (Howe’s Lane). In occupation of tenants.

  3. JOHN THOMPSON and Another.—100 acres, more or less, part of Section 4, Porirua District. In occupation of Messrs. John Casey and Edward Aplin.

Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

APPLICATION having been made to register a certain dealing affecting the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. xliii., folio 212, whereof WILLIAM ROSE is the registered Proprietor, and a statutory declaration of the destruction of the said certificate of title having been lodged with me, and an application having been made for the issue of a provisional certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I shall register such dealing, and issue the provisional certificate as requested, at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
