Goldfields Notices.

Lease to the Homeward Bound Gold-mining Company (Limited), Skippers Creek, cancelled.

IT is hereby notified that the under-mentioned gold-mining lease, not having been executed by the lessees, is cancelled in pursuance of the provisions of section 12 of “The Mining Act Amendment Act (No. 2), 1887,” and that the ground is now open for application as if no lease of it had ever been applied for, namely:—

Lease to the Homeward Bound Gold-mining Company (Limited), dated 3rd November, 1885, of Section No. 47, Block XII., Skippers Creek Survey District, containing 8 acres 1 rood 11 perches.

Native Land Court Notices.

“Native Land Court Act, 1880.”—Notice of Time and Place for inspecting Plan after Interlocutory Order.—Pourewa Block.

Native Land Court Office,
Gisborne, 2nd June, 1891.

WHEREAS at a Court held at Tolago Bay, on the 30th day of June, 1881, and following days, an order was made respecting the aforesaid block of land, that the names of Karauria Pahura and others should be registered as the owners thereof, and that a certificate of their title thereto should be made and issued when a proper survey should be made: Now notice is hereby given that the plan of such survey will be deposited for inspection at the Registrar’s Office, at Gisborne, on the 9th day of June, 1891.

If any person is desirous of making objections to the boundaries of the said block as defined by the said plan, he must give notice thereof to the Court, stating the grounds of his objection. All such objections will be heard and determined at a sitting of the Court to be held at Gisborne, on a day to be hereafter notified.

WHEREAS at a Court held at Gisborne, on the 17th day of October, 1883, and following days, an order was made respecting the aforesaid block of land, that a Crown grant therefor should issue to Wiremu Kaipuke and others as the owners thereof, when a proper survey should be made: Now notice is hereby given that the plan of such survey will be deposited for inspection at the Registrar’s Officer at Gisborne, on the 9th day of June, 1891.
