THE following special order, made by the Mauriceville Road Board, is published in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT, to secure the repayment of a loan of £200, borrowed under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act 1886 Amendment Act, 1889,” for the purpose of acquiring land for, and felling and forming, Mount Munro Road West, a special rate of 7½d. in the pound be made and levied on the rateable value of Sections 11, 12, 13, and 14, Block I., Kopuaranga, together with the thirds accruing from sections within the above area. Such special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate for twenty-six years, or until the loan is paid off, and shall be paid, in two half-yearly instalments, on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each year.

THE following special orders, made by the Manawatu Road Board, are published in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Manawatu Road Board, under the powers contained in “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” to raise the following loan under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” for the construction of the following works in Wards 2 and 3 respectively of the Manawatu Road Board District:—
To form and metal from cross-road adjoining Sections 595 and 596 to cross-road known as continuation of Roberts’s Line, and to form a distance of 57 chains along Sections 590, 591, 592, and then to fell road-line and form and metal along the following sections: 581, 569, 1523, 582, 1522, 568, and to form and metal a distance of 75 chains towards Oroua River along railway-line of road. For the payment of interest at 5 per cent for twenty-six years on the above loan, under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” it is proposed to levy a special rate of ten-sixteenths of a penny in the pound on the following sections: 595, 596, 588, 589, and parts 590, 591, 592, 578 to 581, 1523, 1524, 582, 583, 1522, 567, 568, 569, 570, 577, 1521, inclusive.
