SCHEDULE.

TO BE ADDED AFTER SECTION (f) OF “DIVISION D, CLASS 1.”
(g.) PROVIDED that a ship of this class, of under 50 tons gross tonnage, shall not be required to carry more than one boat, as provided by paragraph (a), of not less than 91 cubic feet capacity.

TO BE ADDED AFTER SECTION (c) OF “DIVISION D, CLASS 2.”
(d.) Provided that a ship of this class, of under 100 tons gross tonnage, shall not be required to carry more than one boat, as provided by paragraph (a), of not less than 91 cubic feet capacity.

IN CLAUSE 13 OF THE “GENERAL RULES.”
The last line of this clause shall read, “A boat of Section D shall be carried in lieu thereof,” in lieu of “A boat of Section E shall be carried in lieu thereof.”

Land temporarily reserved in the Land Districts of Auckland, Canterbury, and Otago.

ONSLOW, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two hundred and twenty-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land Districts of Auckland, Canterbury, and Otago, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being Section No. 75 of Block V., Hukerenui Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north by a line, 998 links; towards the east by a line, 860 links; towards the south generally by a public road, 222, 270, 402, 218, 71, and 218 links; and towards the west by a line, 895 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a cemetery.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being Section No. 89 of the Parish of Onewhero, and containing by admeasurement 24 acres 3 roods 2 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the east by a public road, 1971 links; towards the south by a public road, 2513 links; and towards the north-west, 3194 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For recreation.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being the south-eastern portion of Section No. 5 of the Parish of Awitu, and containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Manukau Harbour; towards the south-east by a public road, 1162 links; and towards the south-west and north-west by the other portion of Section No. 5 aforesaid, 980 and 900 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a cemetery.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, being Section No. 1 of Block III., Maungaru Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 30 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-east by land granted to T. Bray 160 links, and the Wairoa River; towards the south by the aforesaid Wairoa River and by land granted to T. Bray aforesaid, 90 links; and towards the north-west generally by land granted to the aforesaid T. Bray, the abutment of a road, and by the aforesaid land granted to T. Bray, 420 and 260 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a landing reserve.

CANTERBURY.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or less, being Section No. 2939 (in red), situate in Block X., Geraldine Survey District, and being Lots Nos. 5 and 6, Block IX., Orari Village Settlement: as the same is delineated on the map deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For recreation.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 57 acres 1 rood 7 perches, more or less, being Section No. 2937 (in red), situate in Block VI., Hinds Survey District, being a strip of land, 500 links wide, situated north of the railway reserve, along the north-westward and south-westward boundaries of Hinds Township Reservation; save and excepting such roads as are delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For a plantation.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 46 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2938 (in red), situate in Block VI., Hinds Survey District, being a strip of land, 500 links wide, south of the railway reserve, along the south-eastward and south-westward boundaries of Hinds Township Reservation; save and excepting thereout Reserve No. 1446, and three pieces of roads which are included in the above-described boundaries: as the same is delineated on the map deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For a plantation.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 50 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2935 (in red), situate in Block V., Leeston Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 4860 and 4861; and south-east, south-west, and north-west by the River Selwyn; save and excepting thereout a road-line which is included within the above-described boundaries: as the same is delineated on the map deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For river conservation.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 60 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2936 (in red), situate in Block V., Leeston Survey District. Bounded towards the south-east by Section No. 21022 and a road-line; towards the southward by Sections Nos. 21022, 2909, 2910, and 4507; and north-westward and northward by the River Selwyn: as the same is delineated on the map deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For river conservation.

OTAGO.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 21 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 17 and 18, Block XIV., Tuapeka West Survey District. Bounded on the north by Sections Nos. 12 and 13, 467 links; on the east by a road-line, 486½ links; on the south by Section No. 20, 338 links; and on the west by Section No. 19, 469 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. For a pastoral and agricultural show-ground.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 9 acres and 34 perches, more or less, being Section No. 37, Block V., Tiger Hill Survey District. Bounded on the north by a road-line, 958 links; on the east by Section No. 8 of same block, 1923 links; and on the south-west by a road-line, 2149 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. For a school-site.

Rural Land in the Auckland Land District open for Sale or Selection.

ONSLOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the third section of “The Land Act Amendment Act, 1887” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection, after the lapse of a period of not less than forty-five days from the date of the first public notification hereof, in the manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price per acre stated in the said Schedule.
