Trustees for Methven Cemeteries appointed.

ONSLLOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemeteries specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Local Authority. Name of Public Cemeteries, and Description of Land.
The Mount Hutt Road Board. METHVEN. All that piece of land situated in Block VII. of the Spaxton Survey District, containing 1 acre or thereabouts, being Lot No. 171 on the plan deposited in the Land Registry Office as Plan 331, part of the Rural Section No. 30314, delineated in the public map of the said district, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor. Also all that piece of land situated in Block V. of the Corwar Survey District, containing 2 acres or thereabouts, which said piece of land is part of the Rural Section 26852, delineated in the public map of the said district, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one.

Trustees for Addition to Timaru Cemetery appointed.

ONSLLOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Names of Trustees. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
John Hamilton. Thomas Louis Harvey. John Jackson. Fulbert Archer. Moss Jonas. Frederick Le Cren. John Mee. TIMARU. All that parcel of land adjoining the south boundary of the Borough of Timaru, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less. Bounded towards the northward by the South Town Belt, 250 links; towards the eastward by the extension of the Cemetery Reserve 122 (in red), 100 links; towards the southward by Lot No. 117, subdivision of Rural Section No. 1706, 250 links; and towards the westward by the Timaru South Town Belt, 100 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one.

Trustees for Purekireki Cemetery appointed.

ONSLLOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Charles J. Sutton. George Ford. Donald McCalman. John Mitchell. Robert Tapp. PUREKIREKI. All that parcel of land in the Land District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, situate in the Warepa District, and being Section No. 13 of Block VIII., Warepa District. Bounded on the north by Crown lands, 900 links; on the east by Crown lands and Section No. 3 of same block, 603 links; on the south by road reserve, 900 links; on the west by Crown lands, 603 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one.
