“THE TRADE UNION ACT, 1878.” — CANCELLING OF REGISTRY.

Friendly Societies’ Registry Office,
Wellington, 3rd February, 1891.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to “The Trade Union Act, 1878,” by writing under his hand, cancelled the registry of the Southland Fishermen’s, Oystermen’s, and Lumpers’ Union (Register No. 10), held at Bluff Harbour, on the ground that the said union has ceased to exist.

FEATHERSTON FIBRE COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that, on the 23rd day of January, 1891, at an extraordinary general meeting of the Featherston Fibre Company (Limited), the following resolution was passed, and subsequently confirmed on the 7th day of February, 1891, at an extraordinary general meeting:—

“That, in view of the present position of the company, it is advisable that it be voluntarily wound up.”

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.

For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act the charge is 23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should be made payable.

Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post office orders are issued.

Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.

NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAYMENT BEING MADE.
