APPLICATION having been made to register a certain dealing affecting the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. lxxxiii., folio 9, whereof JEMIMA ANSTEY is the registered Proprietor, and a statutory declaration of the loss of the said certificate of title having been lodged with me, and an application having been made for the issue of a provisional certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I shall register such dealing, and issue the provisional certificate as requested at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

THE GOLDEN BAR DREDGING COMPANY, SHOT-OVER MOUTH (LIMITED).

At an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the said company, Exchange Court, Princes Street, Dunedin, on the 23rd day of January, 1891, and an adjournment thereof held at the same place on the 4th day of February, 1891, the subjoined extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”

And at such last-mentioned meeting Mr. EARDLEY CULLY REYNOLDS, of Dunedin, Auctioneer, was appointed Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up, and his remuneration was fixed at 5 per cent. on the amount of assets realised.

AWITU ROAD BOARD.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Awitu Road Board, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and its amendments, to execute certain public works, to wit, to take land for the construction of a road 1 chain wide (66ft.), in the Parish of Awitu, County of Manukau; and for the purposes of such public works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that copies of the plans of the said road and of the lands so required to be taken are open for inspection at the residence of the Clerk, Thomas R. Tindall, Awitu.

All persons affected by the taking of such lands are invited to set forth in writing any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public works, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to Thomas R. Tindall, Clerk, Road Board, Awitu.
