"THE NATIVE LAND COURT ACTS AMENDMENT ACT, 1889."
NOTICE is hereby given that I, HUGO FRIEDLANDER, of Ashburton, Merchant, claiming to have purchased or acquired the parcels of land situate at Tauranga, and known as Waimanu Nos. 1 and 1c and Poripori No. 1 Blocks, have, on the 15th day of September, 1890, left at the office, in the Government Buildings at the City of Wellington, of the Registrar of the Native Land Court for the District of Wellington, the place appointed in that behalf by the Commissioners appointed under section 20 of the above-mentioned Act, applications, pursuant to the said Act and to the rules made by the said Commissioners thereunder, that the said Commissioners shall inquire into all the circumstances attending the said alleged alienation or acquisition of the said interests in the said land.
And notice is hereby further given that certified copies of such applications, and of every instrument in writing, order of the Native Land Court, and other documents upon which I rely in support of the said claim, have been deposited by me with the Clerk of the Resident Magistrate's Court at Tauranga, where the same are open for public inspection without payment of any fee.
And notice is hereby further given that every person desiring to be heard in opposition to my claims is required to file and serve notice of such opposition, and of the grounds thereof, fourteen days at least before the day which shall be appointed for hearing my said claims, and in the form and manner prescribed by the rules made by the said Commissioners.
And notice is hereby further given that my address for service is at 5, Wyndham Street, in the Town of Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Bank of New Zealand has ordered a call to be made of three pounds per share on shares numbered 125,001 to 150,000 inclusive, and that such call is payable at the Head Office of the bank in London, or at any branch office in the colonies, on or before the 1st day of February, 1891.
