NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within one calendar month after the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

APPLICATION having been made to me to register a transfer of lease of Section No. 48, Block I., Waimate Survey District, from HENRY GEORGE WALLEY to JOHN RYAN, and also a dealing by the said John Ryan with the said lease, and a declaration of the loss of the outstanding duplicate of said lease having been lodged with me, I hereby give notice that I shall dispense with the production of the said lease, and register such dealings at the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

MEMORANDUM of Lease No. 473.—The WANGANUI HARBOUR AND RIVER CONSERVATORS’ BOARD to JOHN WILLIAM JACKSON, of Lots 8, 9, and 85, deposited Plan No. 264, part of Lot H, right bank Wanganui River, and part of the land comprised in Crown grant, Vol. xiii., folio 176. Application having been made to me to register a dealing affecting the above lease, and evidence having been lodged as to the loss of the said lease, I hereby give notice that I will register such dealing unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 29th day of December, 1890.

APPLICATION having been made to me to register a discharge of Mortgage No. 5216, dated the 1st May, 1885, over Lot 8 of a subdivision of part of Raumanga Block No. 2, and numbered 3798A, Purua Survey District, in favour of JOHN DAVID MCKENZIE, Farmer, Whangarei, and transferred by him to EDWARD NORTON BOULT, Gentleman, Whangarei, and a statutory declaration lodged that the said mortgage has been destroyed by fire, I hereby give notice that I shall register the said discharge at the expiration of fourteen days from the publication of this Gazette, unless caveat forbidding the same be previously lodged with me.

Mining Notices.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and of the Silver King Silver- and Lead-mining Company (Limited), in liquidation.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company, subject to the supervision of the Supreme Court, was, on the 5th day of December, 1890, presented to Mr. Justice Denniston, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by Samuel Manning, Esq., of Christchurch, Gentleman, one of the contributories of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the 16th day of December, 1890, or so soon thereafter as counsel can be heard; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.
