Special Order made by Akaroa County Council.—Re-describing Boundary between Road Districts.

THE following special order, made by the Akaroa County Council, is published in accordance with “The Counties Act, 1886.”

SPECIAL ORDER.

It is hereby notified that, under the powers conferred by section 49 of “The Counties Act, 1886,” this Council orders the boundary between the Little River and Akaroa and Wainui Road Districts, from Mount Bossu to the sea (the gazetted description and map of the said boundary being at variance), to be as follows: From Mount Bossu Trig. Station in a straight line to the westernmost corner of Rural Section 4547; thence along the southern boundary of that section to its southernmost corner; thence southward by the centre of the Government road bounding Rural Sections 22842 and 22755 to its intersection with the northern boundary of Rural Section 23314; thence westerly to the north-west corner of that section; thence southerly by the western boundary of same section to its south-west corner; thence easterly by that boundary to the western boundary of Rural Section 22709; thence southerly to the south-west corner of Rural Section 22708, and easterly along the boundary of Rural Section 22707 to the dividing-line between the last-named section and Rural Section 22463; thence southerly by that boundary to the sea.

I hereby certify that the above special order was duly passed by the Akaroa County Council, under the powers conferred by section 49 of “The Counties Act, 1886.”

THAT a special order be now made increasing the number of Wardens for the Upper Wangaehu Road District from four to six; three to form a quorum. Such order to be in force on and after the 29th day of November, 1890.

I hereby certify that a special order, of which the above is a copy, was duly passed, as required by section 76 of “The Road Boards Act, 1882,” at a special meeting of the Upper Wangaehu Road Board, held the 1st November, 1890.
