Trustee appointed for the Te Aroha Cemetery.

ONSLOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

CHARLES AHIER

to be a Trustee, in the place of J. A. Dobson, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Te Aroha Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed by warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor on the twenty-second day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety.

to be a Trustee, in the place of John Laverty, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Hyde Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed by warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government on the fourteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety.

to act as Portuguese Consul at Wellington, received Her Majesty’s signature on the 29th September last, and that the notification of Her Majesty’s approval of this appointment appeared in the London Gazette of the 30th September.

GEORGE EUGENE SOLOMON, Esq., Solicitor, of No. 28, Holford Square, London, W.C., England, has been appointed this day, by His Honour the Chief Justice, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in England, under section 2 of “The Commissioners of the Supreme Court Act, 1875,” for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned.
