SIR,—With reference to my circular despatches of the 5th
August, 1880, and the 22nd February, 1887, I have the
honour to inform you that the Roumanian Minister at this
Court has now given the necessary notice to terminate the
commercial treaties of 1880 and 1886 between Great Britain
and Roumania. These treaties will accordingly expire on
the 28th of June and 10th of July, 1891.

Eketahuna Road Board, are published in accordance
with "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886."

FORMATION ON THE CENTRAL MANGAONE ROAD WEST.
RESULT of a poll taken at Eketahuna, on the 1st November,
1890, on a proposal to raise a loan of £400, under "The Local
Bodies' Loans Act, 1886," for formation on the Central
Mangaone Road West:—
Number of ratepayers on special roll 4, representing 4
votes; number of ratepayers who voted in favour of the pro-
posal 3, representing 3 votes; against the proposal, none;
number of ratepayers who did not vote 1, representing 1
vote.
As the number of ratepayers who voted, and the number
of votes recorded in favour of the proposal, are a majority in
each case, I declare the proposal carried.

on the Mangaone Valley Road:—
Number of ratepayers on the special roll 25, representing
25 votes; number of ratepayers who voted in favour of the
proposal 15, representing 15 votes; number against the pro-
posal, none; number of ratepayers who did not record their
votes 10, representing 10 votes.
As the number of ratepayers that voted, and the number
of votes recorded in favour of the proposal, are a majority in
each case, I declare the proposal carried.
