Notification that Her Majesty has relinquished Negotiations for the Acquisition of the Kopuatai Nos. 3 and 6 Blocks.
ONSLow, Governor.
IN pursuance of the provisions of “The Government Native Land Purchases Act, 1877,” and “The Government Native Land Purchases Act Amendment Act, 1878,” it is hereby notified that Her Majesty the Queen has relinquished negotiations in respect of the blocks of Native land in the North Island which are more particularly described and mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
KOPUATAI NOS. 3 AND 6 BLOCKS.
SITUATED in the Waitoa Survey District, in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing respectively 1,820 acres and 1,331 acres, as comprised in orders of the Native Land Court, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 100, of the 16th October, 1878.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety.

Rural Lands in the Canterbury Land District open for Sale or Selection.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the third section of “The Land Act Amendment Act, 1887” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection, after the lapse of a period of not less than forty-five days from the date of the first public notification hereof, in the manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price per acre stated in the said Schedule.
This notification will revoke so much of the notification dated the nineteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight (published in Gazette No. 29, of the tenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight), as relates to the sections enumerated in the Schedule hereto.
