This notification will supersede so much of the notice of
the 2nd February, 1888, Gazette No. 8, pages 196 and 197, as
relates to the blocks of land described in the foregoing
Schedule.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this third day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and ninety.

Rural Lands in the Canterbury Land District open for
Sale or Selection.
ONSLOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the third section of "The Land
Act Amendment Act, 1887" (hereinafter termed "the said
Act"), I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the
Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is
provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated
in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection,
after the lapse of a period of not less than forty-five days
from the date of the first public notification hereof, in the
manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act,
and at the price per acre stated opposite such land in the said
Schedule.

of land described in the foregoing Schedule.

this twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety.

Vaccination Districts constituted.
ONSLOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the
Governor by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, William
Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination district
known as the Tauranga District; and do declare that the
territory heretofore comprised within the said district is
hereby divided anew into two vaccination districts, the
names whereof shall be the Tauranga and Rotorua Districts,
and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the
boundaries of the registration districts bearing the same
names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date here-
with, made under the provisions of "The Registration of
Births and Deaths Act, 1875."
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety.
