Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the Hawke's Bay Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified, under warrants of the dates given, in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement 14 acres and 37 perches, more or less, situated in the Mangaporo Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide, the northern side of which commences at survey-peg No. 63, on the north-western boundary-line of Rotokautuku No. 2 Block; and proceeds in a south-easterly direction, traversing the said block, for a distance of 14255 links, more or less, to survey-peg No. 57, on the south-eastern boundary-line of the said Rotokautuku No. 2 Block: as the same is more particularly delineated on Map No. 242b, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, situated in the Mangaporo Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide, the northern side of which commences at survey-peg No 57, at the termination of the road hereinbefore described; and proceeds in a south-easterly direction, traversing the Rotokautuku No. 6 Block, for a distance of 4899 links, more or less, to survey-peg No. 53, on the north-eastern boundary-line of the said block: as the same is more particularly delineated on Map No. 242a, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 21 perches, more or less, situated in the Mangaporo Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide, the eastern side of which commences at survey-peg No. 11a, on the northern boundary-line of the Rotokautuku No. 3 Block; and proceeds in a south-easterly direction, traversing the said block, for a distance of 5418 links, more or less, to a point, marked M on map hereinafter referred to, on the Waiapu River: as the same is more particularly delineated on Map No. 242a, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 1 rood 13 perches, more or less, situated in the Mangaporo Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide, the north-western side of which commences on the road, hereinbefore described, through the Rotokautuku No. 6 Block, at a point 100·2 links distant from survey-peg No. 54, on a line bearing S. 38° 11' W. from the said peg No. 54; and proceeds in a south-westerly direction generally, traversing the said Rotokautuku No. 6 Block, for a distance of 6277 links, more or less, to the Waiapu River, at a point marked N on map hereinafter referred to: as the same is more particularly delineated on Map No. 242c, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 3 roods 34 perches, more or less, situated in the Mangaporo Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide, the northern side of which commences at survey-peg No. 8, on the road, hereinbefore described, through the Rotokautuku No. 3 Block; and proceeds in northerly and easterly directions, traversing the said Rotokautuku No. 3 Block, for a distance of 5008 links, more or less, to the Waiapu River, at a point marked O on map hereinafter referred to: as the same is more particularly delineated on Map No. 242a, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less, situated in the Mangaporo Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide, the northern side of which commences at survey-peg No. 53, at the termination of the road, hereinbefore described, through the Rotokautuku No. 6 Block; and proceeds in easterly and northerly directions, traversing the Rotokautuku No. 2 Block, for a distance of 5777 links, more or less, to a point on the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Rotokautuku No. 2 Block, 2050 links distant from the southern corner of the Rotokautuku No. 1 Block: as the same is more particularly delineated on Map No. 242a, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement 12 acres and 16 perches, more or less, situated in the Mangaporo Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide, the north-western side of which commences on the south-eastern boundary-line of the Rotokautuku No. 5 Block, at a point 1090·7 links from the southernmost corner of that block; and proceeds in a south-westerly direction generally, traversing the Rotokautuku No. 1 Block, for a distance of 12026 links, more or less, to the road, hereinbefore described, through the Rotokautuku No. 2 Block: as the same is more particularly delineated on Maps Nos. 242a and 242d, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasurement 4 acres and 33 perches, more or less, situated in the Mangaporo Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide and upwards, the centre line of which commences on the south-eastern boundary-line of the Rotokautuku No. 5 Block, at a point 1296 links, more or less, from the southernmost corner of that block; and pro-
