Approving and appointing a Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS.—In exercise of the powers in me for this purpose vested by “The Customs Laws Consolidation Act, 1882,” I, the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, do hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned warehouse to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond, namely,—
Port of Dunedin.
Portion of a brick building roofed with slate, situate in Princes Street South, on Section 11, Block IV., City of Dunedin, to be known as the
SOUTHERN BOND.

Additional By-law for New Zealand Railways.
THE New Zealand Railway Commissioners, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred by “The Government Railways Act, 1887,” do hereby make the following by-law (in addition to by-laws published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 89, of the 26th October, 1882), that is to say:—
BY-LAW.
No person shall enter upon, or remain or loiter upon, any part of the railway wharves at Port Chalmers without the permission of the Railway Stationmaster. All persons engaged on business with any ship lying at the wharves, or being passengers thereon, must, when required, obtain from the Stationmaster a ticket for admission before they can be allowed on the wharf, and such ticket will permit them to pass along such wharf only, and not to remain or loiter thereon.
Any person entering such railway wharves without a ticket, when required, or remaining or loitering thereon not having permission from the Railway Stationmaster, will be liable to a penalty of not exceeding £10.

Alterations and Additions to the Scale of Fares, Rates, and Charges in force upon the New Zealand Railways.
THE New Zealand Railway Commissioners, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred by “The Government Railways Act, 1887,” do hereby make the following alteration in and addition to the scale of fares, rates, and charges on the New Zealand railways, to come into force on and after the 13th day of October, 1890:—

HURUNUI—BLUFF SECTION.
Native brown coals consigned from Waihao Forks to Timaru or Oamaru will be charged 5s. 3d. per ton.

Steam Service between Bluff and Milford Sound.
General Post Office,

SEALED tenders will be received by the Chief Postmaster, Invercargill, until Friday, the 31st instant, for a monthly steam service between the Bluff and Milford Sound, via Coal Island. The service to be for six months, and to be terminable by the Postmaster-General on giving one month’s notice. Forms of tender, with terms and conditions of contract, may be obtained on application at the Post-offices, Bluff and Invercargill. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
