Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of a Road over Land in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the land specified under warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
HUKANUI-HAWERA ROAD.
ALL that piece of land in the Mangahao and Mangaone Survey Districts, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 3 roods 9 perches, more or less, being a road, 100 links wide, the north-western side of which commences at a point marked A at the southernmost corner of Section No. 102, Block XIV., Mangahao Survey District; and proceeds thence in a south-westerly direction over the Mangatainoka J No. 4 Block and the Mangatainoka K No. 2 Block to a point marked B on the south-western boundary of the latter block, being the south-eastern corner of Section No. 133, Block I., Mangaone Survey District: as the said piece of land is more particularly delineated on the plan marked Survey Office 4887-5, deposited in the District Survey Office, Wellington.
Date of warrant, 12th February, 1890.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and its amendments, for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in Bruce County:
And whereas the Bruce County Council has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration required by the said Act, and the amendments thereof:
Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of the said road.

Regulation for Trout- and Perch-fishing, Auckland Acclimatisation District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of September, 1890.

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby make the following regulation for the Auckland Acclimatisation District, which includes the Provincial District of Auckland (with the exception of the Counties of Tauranga, Whakatane, and Cook), and the waters thereof; and doth hereby declare that this regulation shall, as from the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette, supersede regulation number two made by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 65, of the twenty-ninth day of November in the same year; and doth also declare that in all other respects the regulations made by the last-named Order in Council shall remain in full force and virtue.
REGULATION.
- For every license to fish for trout and perch in the waters in the Auckland Acclimatisation District, issued under the hand of the Secretary of the Auckland Acclimatisation Society, or any one authorised by the said Secretary in that behalf, a fee of one pound will be charged.
