NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly
existing between us, the undersigned ROBERT RAWSON,
JAMES McCUTCHAN, and CHARLES HENRY McCUTCHAN the
younger, carrying on business as Land and Estate Agents
and Commission Agents, at Hawera, in the Provincial Dis-
trict of Taranaki, under the name of “Rawson and
McCutchan,” was dissolved by mutual consent on the 31st
day of December, 1889. The said business will for the
future be carried on by James McCutchan and Charles Henry
McCutchan, jun., under the style or the firm of “J.
McCutchan and Co.,” of Hawera aforesaid, who will receive
and pay all debts owing to or by the late firm of Rawson and
McCutchan aforesaid.

ISLAND BAY TRAMWAYS.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at the expiration of thirty
days from the publication hereof, application is in-
tended to be made to His Excellency the Right Honourable
William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand,
for an order empowering CHARLES TILLEARD NATUSCH,
Architect and Civil Engineer, of the City of Wellington, now
residing at West Beach, Island Bay, in the Borough of Mel-
rose, to make and use a tramway, part thereof within the
City of Wellington and part within the Borough of Melrose,
starting from a point within Riddiford Street at its junction
with Rintoul Street, and from thence along Rintoul Street
to South Road, and along South Road to its junction with
Luxford Street, and along Luxford Street to Adelaide Road,
and thence along Adelaide Road to the north side of the
Town Belt, and thence along the road through the Town
Belt to the south side thereof, all within the City of Wellin-
ton; and thence, in the Borough of Melrose, along The
Parade to its junction with Derwent Street, and along Der-
went Street to a point opposite the line dividing Sections 10
and 17 on the West Beach Estate, Island Bay, and also
along Avon Street, from The Parade to its junction with
Clyde Street, thence along Clyde Street to Hunter Street,
and along Hunter Street to The Parade; with power to make
convenient sidings, passing-loops, and crossings for the pur-
poses of such tramway. And notice is hereby further given
that the said tramway is intended to be used for goods,
passenger, and other traffic; and that a copy of this adver-
tisement and plans of the proposed works, and all other
documents required to be deposited under the provisions of
“The Tramways Act, 1872,” will, on or before the 10th day
of February, 1890, be deposited for public inspection in the
office in the City of Wellington of the Registrar of the
Supreme Court, and in the office in the said City of Wellin-
ton of the Corporation of the said City of Wellington, and
in the office of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, and also in the office in the said City of
Wellington of the Borough of Melrose; and that printed
copies of the draft order when deposited, pursuant to sub-
section (3) of the Third Schedule to “The Tramways Act,
1872,” and of the order when made, will be deposited at the
office of Messrs. Menteath and Staveley, Barristers and
Solicitors, on Lambton Quay, in the said City of Wellington.

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF WANGANUI, HOLDEN
AT PALMERSTON NORTH.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the amend-
ments thereof, and in the matter of the Manawatu Steam
Shipping Company (Limited), and in the matter of an
order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, directing the
above-named company to be wound up.

UPON the application of the Official Liquidator of the
above-named company, and upon reading an order
dated the twenty-seventh day of July, 1887, and a certificate
dated this twenty-fifth day of July, 1889, whereby it appears
that the affairs of the said company have been completely
wound up, it is ordered that the said Manawatu Steam
Shipping Company (Limited) be dissolved as from this
twenty-fifth day of July, 1889; and that the bond dated the
sixteenth day of August, 1887, entered into by the said
Official Liquidator, together with Richard Kibblewhite and
Joseph Poulter Leary, his sureties, be released.

DUNEDIN CO-OPERATIVE MEAT-SUPPLY COM-
PANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary meet-
ing of the shareholders of the above company, held at
the registered office of the company, George Street, Dunedin,
on the 7th day of January, 1890, the following resolution was
passed as an extraordinary resolution within the meaning of
section 189 of “The Companies Act, 1882:” —
“That, seeing that the Dunedin Co-operative Meat sup-
ply Company (Limited) cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business, it is advisable to wind up the same,
and that the company be voluntarily wound up.”
And that, at such meeting, ROBERT RUTHERFORD and
THOMAS KEW HARTY were appointed the Liquidators of the
company.
