IT is hereby notified for public information that the Commissioners appointed in pursuance of section 9 of “The Land Acts Amendment Act, 1888,” have reported to His Excellency the Governor that the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been classified by them as therein noted.

SCHEDULE.

CLASS I.—Pastoral Lands, being Lands suitable exclusively for Pasturage, and not capable of being used with Profit in Areas of less than Five Thousand Acres.

T, Ohau River District; on the south by Ahuriri River and plantation reserve; and generally on the west by Quail Burn and Run 189A.
170A 12,870 Situated in Beaumont, Lammerlaw, and Hedgehope Survey Districts. Bounded on the north-east by the summit of the Lammerlaw Range; on the south-east by Run 353C and the Beaumont River; on the south-west by Run 170B; and on the north-west by Run 170.
221D 4,314 Situated in Leaning Rock Survey District. Bounded on the north-west by Leaning Rock Creek; on the east by Run 221C; on the south by surveyed land and Clyde Commonage; and on the west by Clutha River.
223 17,620 Situated in Lauder and Cluden Survey Districts. Bounded on the north-west by fence along the summit of the Dunstan Mountains; on the north-east by Run 226B and the Lauder Creek; on the east by Section 10, Block V., Lauder District; on the south by Run 223E; and on the south-west by Run 223A.
236F 3,850 Situated in Lower Hawea Survey District. Bounded on the north by Lost Burn or Jones’s Creek; on the east by Runs 236 and 236H; on the south by Run 236E; and on the west by surveyed land.

261E 20,600 Situated chiefly in Manor Survey District. Bounded on the north-east by Run 261D; on the south-east by Runs 261F and 261G; on the south-west by Runs 262D and 262 and Manorburn; and on the north-west by Run 220A.

421 15,000 Situated chiefly in Longslip Side and Ohau Lake Survey Districts. Bounded on the north by Canterbury Provincial District; on the east by east branch of Ahuriri River; and on the west by Ahuriri River and Run 429B.
421A 14,800 Situated chiefly in Ohau Lake Survey District. Bounded on the north by Canterbury Provincial District; on the south-east by Runs 189, 189A, and 3 of C; and on the west by east branch of Ahuriri River.
429 1,170 Situated in Longslip Side Survey District. Bounded on the north by Canterbury Provincial District; on the east by Ahuriri River; and on the south-west by Run 429A.
429B 9,300 Situated chiefly in Longslip Side Survey District. Bounded on the north by Provincial District of Canterbury; on the east by Run 421; and on the south-west by Ahuriri River.
439 7,900 Situated in St. Bathan’s and Turnagain Survey Districts. Bounded on the north by Run 403; on the south-east and east by Run 445; on the south by Run 227; and on the west by Manuherikia River.
24 Waka-tipu 15,400 Situated chiefly in Kawarau and Crown Survey Districts. Bounded generally on the north-west by surveyed land, Cardrona River, and commonage; on the east by Runs 340 and 340A; on the south by Kawarau River; and on the west by surveyed land.

CLASS II.—Pastoral Lands as aforesaid, but suitable for Subdivision as Small Runs into Areas not exceeding Five Thousand Acres.

205A 3,940 Situated in the Rock and Pillar Survey District. Bounded on the north by surveyed land; on the east by the Taieri River; on the south by Capburn and Run 205B; and on the west by Run 204.
205B 3,960 Situated in the Rock and Pillar Survey District. Bounded on the north by Run 205A; on the east by surveyed land; on the south by Run 205C; and on the west by Run 204.
205C 4,250 Situated in the Rock and Pillar Survey District. Bounded on the north by Run 205B; on the east by surveyed land and Hyde Township Reserve; on the south by Run 205; and on the west by Run 204.
446 2,500 Situated in Mokoreta and Rimu Survey Districts. Bounded generally on the north, south, east and west by Tautuku Forest.
