CHANGE OF SURNAME.
I, JAMES BUCKMAN ELMES, of Tomoana, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, in the Colony of New Zealand, Fellmonger, who for many years past, and up to the date and execution of the deed-poll hereinafter mentioned, have more commonly used and been known by the name of JAMES BUCKMAN ELMES HIRD, do hereby give notice that I have, on behalf of myself and my wife Margaret, and my present and any future-born children, by deed-poll under my hand and seal, bearing even date herewith, and intended to be forthwith filed in the Supreme Court office, at Napier, in the said colony, assumed as a compound name the surname of “Elmes-Hird,” in lieu of and substitution for the aforesaid single surnames of “Elmes” or “Hird;” and that the said compound surname of “Elmes-Hird,” and no other surname whatever, will at all times hereafter be used and adopted by me and my said wife and children in all deeds, documents, and writings, and in all legal and other proceedings, dealings, and matters, and for all other purposes and on all other occasions whatsoever. In testimony whereof I do hereby sign and subscribe myself by such my intended future surname, this 5th day of August, 1890.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership of WILLIAM THEYERS and CANUTE PETERSEN BECK, carrying on business in Alexandra (South), as Brewers, under the firm or style of “Theyers and Beck,” has been dissolved by mutual consent, the said William Theyers having retired from same.
The said brewery business will be carried on by the said Canute Petersen Beck, under the style of “C. P. Beck.”

PARTNERSHIP.
IT is hereby notified that Mr. CHARLES SUTTON, of the firm of SUTTON AND BENNETT, Coal and Firewood Merchants, of Newmarket, near to the City of Auckland, retired from the firm as from the 1st day of August instant. All the debts due to and liabilities due by the firm are to be received and paid by Mr. WILLIAM BENNETT, who will continue to carry on the business.
