THE LONGWOOD SLUICING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE OF INCREASE OF CAPITAL.
I, the undersigned Manager, hereby give notice that an increase of capital of the above-named company was, on the 7th May, 1890, resolved on. The mode adopted for the increase is by issuing 100 new shares of £10 each, in addition to the 100 shares now existing in the company.
The new shares to be open for application, to shareholders only, until the 23rd day of May, 1890, on the following terms, viz., 20s. on application, 20s. on allotment, and 10s. per share in calls at intervals of not less than one month.

In the matter of the New Zealand Stud and Pedigree Stock Company (Limited), in liquidation.
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a general meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, Shortland Street, Auckland, on Friday, the 16th day of May, 1890, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
And at the same meeting Mr. HENRY ERNEST WHITAKER, Secretary of the said company, was appointed Liquidator of the company, and his remuneration was fixed at the rate of £100 per annum.

THE ROSEVILLE DAIRY FACTORY COMPANY (LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company, duly convened and held at Port Chalmers on the 1st day of May, 1890, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily.”
At the same meeting WILLIAM ELDER and WILLIAM JAMES BOLT were appointed Liquidators for the purposes of such winding-up.

IN PARLIAMENT.
In the matter of a Bill intituled “The Wellington Chew’s Lane Encroachment Act, 1890.”
NOTICE is hereby given that application will be made to Parliament, at its next session, for leave to introduce a Bill to enable the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington to sell to Jacob Joseph, of the City of Wellington, Esquire, a piece of land having a frontage of one and a half links to Victoria Street, and shown on the plan deposited in the Land Registry Office, at Wellington, No. 331, as forming part of the extension of the lane known as Chew’s Lane, and to extinguish such rights as may have arisen over the said piece of land in consequence of the deposit of such plan.
Copies of the above Bill will be deposited in the Examiner’s office on or before the 12th day of June, 1890.

In the matter of a Bill to be intituled “A Bill to authorise the Letting of the Cemetery Reserve, known as Taupo No. 2, in the Provincial District of Wellington.”
NOTICE is hereby given that application will be made to Parliament, at its next sitting, for leave to introduce a Bill to enable Wi Parata Kakakura, the present Trustee, and any future Trustee for the time being, of the parcel of land known as Taupo No. 2, containing 10 acres 2 roods 24 perches, situated near the Plimmerton Station of the Wellington and Manawatu Railway, now vested in the above-named Wi Parata Kakakura, upon trust for the Ngatitoa tribe, for the purposes of a public burial-place, to let the same or any part thereof for terms of years not exceeding forty-two years in possession, computed from the date of any lease, at such rent and subject to such terms and conditions as the said Wi Parata Kakakura or other the Trustee for the time being of the said parcel of land shall think fit, and to make such letting either by public auction or by private contract.
Copies of the above Bill will be deposited in the Examiner’s Office on or before the 12th day of June, 1890.

And notice is hereby further given that certified copies of such application, and of every instrument in writing, order of the Native Land Court, and other document upon which I rely in support of the said claim, have been deposited by me with the Clerk of the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Tologa Bay, where the same are open for public inspection without payment of any fee.
And notice is hereby further given that every person desiring to be heard in opposition to my said claim is required to file and serve notice of such opposition and of the grounds thereof fourteen days at least before the day which shall be appointed for hearing my said claim, and on the form and in manner prescribed by the rules made by the said Commissioners.
And notice is hereby further given that my address for service is at the office of Messrs. Nolan and Skeet, Solicitors, Gladstone Road, Gisborne.
