Arrangements for First Elections, &c., North Wairarapa Rabbit District.—Notice No. 297.

Wellington, 21st May, 1890.
HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Thursday, the 12th day of June, 1890, as the date of holding the first election of five Trustees of the North Wairarapa Rabbit District, as constituted under “The Rabbit Nuisance Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1886;” and also to appoint Saturday, the 21st day of June, 1890, at noon, to be the time, and the Sheep Inspector’s office, Masterton, to be the place, at which the first meeting of the Trustees of the said district shall be held.

Alterations and Additions to the Scale of Fares, Rates, and Charges in force upon the New Zealand Railways.
THE New Zealand Railway Commissioners, in exercise and pursuance of the powers conferred by “The Government Railways Act, 1887,” do hereby make the following alterations in and additions to the scale of fares, rates, and charges on the New Zealand Railways, to come into force on and after the 26th day of May, 1890 :—

Regulation under “The Law Practitioners Act, 1882.”
BY virtue of the powers vested in us by law, it is ordered by us, four Judges of the Supreme Court, that, notwithstanding the rules and regulations under “The Law Practitioners Act, 1882,” published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 41, on Thursday, the 27th June, 1889, to come into operation on the 1st June, 1890, examinations of candidates for admission as barristers or solicitors in law and general knowledge shall be held on the third Monday in September of the present year, under the rules and regulations published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 109, on Thursday, the 28th December, 1882.
