Declaring a certain Road in the Porangahau Road District to be a District Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of May, 1890.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the road in the Porangahau Road District, described in the Schedule below, shall, on and after the date above mentioned, become a district road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the County of Patangata, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, being that portion of the road leading from Tahoraite to Wainui which commences at the eastern boundary-line of Block V., Tautane Survey District, and proceeds in easterly and southerly directions to the termination of the said road from Tahoraite to Wainui; as the said portion of road is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 6430, deposited in the General Survey Office, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon marked in red.

Boundaries of Clyde Native Licensing District altered.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of May, 1890.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the seventeenth section of “The Licensing Act, 1881,” it is enacted that the Governor, by Order in Council, may from time to time alter the limits of any Native licensing district: And whereas it is expedient to alter the limits of the Native Licensing District of Clyde, as described in an Order in Council dated the sixteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in pursuance and exercise of all powers enabling him in this behalf, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, doth hereby alter the limits of the said district, and doth define that part of the colony mentioned and described in the Schedule hereto to be the Native Licensing District of Clyde, for the purposes of the said Act, in lieu of that described in the before-mentioned Order in Council.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the County of Wairoa bounded towards the north-east generally by Waikare Moana and the Waikare Taheke to the confluence of the latter with the Waiau; thence by that river to its confluence with the Wairoa; thence by the last-mentioned river to the Town District of Clyde; thence by the said Town District of Clyde, and again by the said Wairoa River to the ocean; towards the south-east by the ocean; towards the south-west by Hawke’s Bay County; and towards the north-west by the Counties of East Taupo and Whakatane respectively to Waikare Moana aforesaid.

Shooting Season for Imported Game, License Fee, Feilding District.
ONSLOW, Governor.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that cock-pheasants and quail may be taken or killed in the Kiwitea and Manchester Acclimatisation District from the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, both inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said Acts mentioned). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of ten shillings each, and that licenses to sell game and native game shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and the Postmaster at Feilding is hereby appointed to sign and issue the said licenses.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifteenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety.

Rural Lands in the Auckland Land District open for Sale or Selection.
ONSLOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the third section of “The Land Act Amendment Act, 1887” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection, after the lapse of a period of not less than forty-five days from the date of the first public notification hereof, in the manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price per acre stated in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
UNSURVEYED LAND.
Raglan County.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, situate in the Parish of Whangape, and containing approximately 10,000 acres. Bounded towards the north-east generally by Sections Nos. 25, 26, and 86 of the Parish of Whangape; towards the north-west by Section No. 86 aforesaid, by Section No. 32 of the same parish, and by a public road; again towards the north-east by a right line, being the production in a north-westerly direction of the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 43 of the Parish of Whangape aforesaid, by that boundary and by its production in a south-easterly direction to the southern boundary of the parish aforesaid; towards the south by the northern boundary of the Parish of Pepepe; and towards the west by Section No. 71 of the Parish of Whangape, by a public road, and by the Mangataru Stream to the point of commencement. Price, 10s. per acre.
Description of Land: All bush land, undulating and broken; soil good, generally volcanic.
The foregoing notification will revoke the notification dated the 28th April, 1890, published in Gazette No. 23, of the 1st April, 1890, page 443.
Tauranga County.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland being situated in the Otanewainuku and Maketu Survey Districts, and containing by admeasurement 2,200 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the east generally by Sections Nos. 18, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 15, all of Block I., Maketu aforesaid, and by the Otawa or Waitaha No. 1B Block; towards the south-east by Sections No. 17, the abutment of a road, again by Nos. 17, 23, the abutment of a road, and No. 24, all of Block V., Maketu Survey District aforesaid; towards the south by a forest reserve; and towards the north-west by the Waoku No. 2A, Otawa No. 1, and Otawa No. 2 (aforesaid) Blocks. Price, 7s. 6d. per acre.
Description of Land: Very broken.
