WAIMEA-PICTON.
This district is bounded towards the north-east by Tasman
Bay, from the Motueka River to the City of Nelson Electoral
District, hereinbefore described; thence towards the east,
towards the north, and towards the west by the said City of
Nelson Electoral District to the seaward boundary of the
Boulder Bank; thence towards the north-west by Tasman
Bay; again towards the north-east and towards the south-
east by Cook Strait to the southernmost point of White's
Bay; thence towards the south-west generally by a line
bearing N. 45Β° W. to the summit of the watershed be-
tween Queen Charlotte Sound and Port Underwood and
Cloudy Bay; thence by a right line to the easternmost
corner of Section No. 96, Block XV., Linkwater Survey Dis-
trict; thence by Sections Nos. 117 and 97 of the said Block
XV. to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned sec-
tion; thence by the crossing of a road and by the road
which forms the southern boundary of Section No. 66 of
the said Block XV. to the Picton-Blenheim Railway-line ;
thence again towards the east by the said Picton-Blen-
heim Railway-line to the Wairau River; thence again
towards the south-east by the said Wairau River to Han-
nam's Creek; thence towards the south generally by that
creek to the south-western corner of Section No. 106,
Block XII., Onamalutu Survey District; thence by the
south-western boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 106 and 107 to
the westernmost corner of the said Section No. 107; thence
by a right line to the nearest point on the summit of the
watershed between the Onamalutu and the Kaituna Valleys ;
thence by that watershed to the summit of the dividing-
range between the Pelorus and Wairau Valleys; thence by
that summit to the boundary-line between the Provincial
Districts of Marlborough and Nelson; thence again towards
the south-east by that boundary-line to Tophouse;
thence by the summit of the St. Arnaud Range to a point
near the headwaters of the Motupiko River; thence again
towards the south-west generally by the summit of the
watershed of the Rivers Motupiko and Buller, and the sum-
mit of the dividing-range between the said Buller River and
the Hope River, to the confluence of the last-named river
with the said Buller River; and thence towards the north-
west generally by a right line to the summit of the range at
the source of the Tadmor River; thence by the summit of
the dividing-range between the said Tadmor River and the
Motupiko River to a point due west of the north-western
corner of Section No. 87, Block XIII., Wai-iti Survey Dis-
trict; thence by a right line to the north-western corner of
that section; thence by the northern boundary-line of the
said Section No. 87, and its production to the right bank of
the Motueka River; thence by the said Motueka River
to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary-line of
Section No. 104, Block I., Wai-iti Survey District; thence
by a right line to the northernmost corner of that sec-
tion; thence by the north-eastern boundary-line of the
said Section No. 104 to its north-eastern corner; thence
by a right line to the south-western corner of Section
No. 88 of the said Block I.; thence by Sections Nos. 89, 83,
25, 18, and 12 of Square 6, and 25 of Square 7, of the said
Block I., and the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No.
10, to the easternmost corner of that section; thence by a
right line to the northernmost corner of Section No. 139,
Block II., of the said Wai-iti Survey District; thence by the
north-eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section
and by Sections Nos. 109A, 111, 112, and 113, all of the said
Block II., to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned
section; thence by a right line to the north-western corner
of Section No. 82, Block XV., Motueka Survey District; thence
by a right line to the south-western corner of Section No.
47, Block X., of the said Motueka Survey District; thence
by the western boundary-line of that section and the western
boundary-line of Section No. 45, the southern and western
boundary-lines of Section No. 44, the southern and western
boundary-lines of Section No. 43, and the western boundary-
lines of Sections Nos. 42 and 41, all of the said Block X.;
thence by Section No. 51, Block VI., of the said Motueka
Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of that section;
thence by a right line to the westernmost corner of Section
No. 2 of B1; thence by the north-western boundary-line
of that section to its northernmost corner; thence by Sec-
tions Nos. 2 of 33, 260, and 2 of 32 of Block VII. of the said
Motueka Survey District, and by Sections Nos. 4 of 31, 253,
252, 251, 250, 249, 248, 247, and 246, all of Block III. of the
said Motueka Survey District, to the Motueka River; and
thence by the left bank of the said Motueka River to the
ocean: including D'Urville, Arapawa, The Brothers, and ad-
jacent islands, and Rabbit Island.
WAIRAU.
This district is bounded towards the north-west generally
by the Waimea-Picton Electoral District, hereinbefore
described, from Tophouse to White's Bay; thence towards
the north-east by Cook Strait to Cape Campbell; thence
towards the south-east by the ocean to the Conway River;
thence towards the south-west generally by the said Conway
River to its source; thence by a right line to Palmer Saddle;
thence towards the south by the boundary-line between the
Provincial Districts of Nelson and Marlborough to the left bank
of the Clarence River; thence by the said Clarence River to
the confluence of the Acheron River with the said Clarence
River; thence again towards the north-west by the said
Acheron River to the confluence of the Guide River with the
said Acheron River, and thence by the said Guide River to
its source; thence by a right line to Barefell Pass; and
thence again towards the south-west by a right line to Top-
house.
BULLER.
This district is bounded towards the north-west and north
by the ocean from the Buller River to the Cape Farewell Light-
house; thence towards the north-east generally by Golden Bay
and Tasman Bay to the Motueka River; thence towards the
south-east generally by the Waimea-Picton Electoral District,
hereinbefore described, to the confluence of the Hope River
with the Buller River; thence towards the south-west by a
right line to Mount Owen; thence again towards the south-
east by the summit of the watershed between the Mokihinui
River and the Buller River and by the summit of the
Lyell Range to the Buller River, opposite the mouth of
Little Deepdale Stream; and thence towards the south and
again towards the south-west generally by the said Buller
River to the ocean: including Adele Island and adjacent
islands, and the lighthouse at Cape Farewell.
INANGAHUA.
This district is bounded towards the north-west by the
Buller Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the
mouth of the Buller River to Mount Owen; thence towards the
north-east by the said Buller Electoral District and by the
Waimea-Picton Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to
the summit of the St. Arnaud Range; thence towards the
south-east by the summit of the said St. Arnaud Range, the
summit of the Spenser Range, and the summit of the main
range leading to the saddle between the north branch of the
Hurunui River and the Teremakau River; thence towards
the south-west by a right line to the outflow of the Arnold
River from Lake Brunner; thence by the said Arnold River
to its confluence with the Grey River, and by a line across
that river; thence again towards the south-east by the
said Grey River to a point in line with the eastern boundary-
line of Section No. 211, Square 119, in Block V., Cobden
Survey District; thence towards the west generally by a
right line to the south-eastern corner of the said Section
No. 211; thence by that section and Section No. 118 of the
said Block V.; thence by the crossing of a road and by Sec-
tions Nos. 167 and 166, the crossing of a road, and by Section
No. 123, all of the said Block V., to a point in line with the
eastern boundary-line of Section No. 17 of the said Block V. ;
thence by a right line across a road to the south-eastern
corner of the said Section No. 17; thence by that section
and its eastern boundary-line produced across a road to Sec-
tion No. 15; thence by the said Section No. 15, and Section
No. 16, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section No.
16; thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of
Section No. 14 of Block III. ; thence by the eastern bound-
ary-line of that section produced to Coal Creek, and
thence by the said Coal Creek to its source; thence by a
right line to the nearest spur leading to the main range;
thence by the summit of the dividing-range between the
Grey River and the West Coast to a point due east of another
point on the right bank of Seven-mile Creek, the latter point
being in line with the eastern boundary-line of Section No.
13 of Block III. of the said Cobden Survey District; thence
towards the south generally by a line due west to the said
Seven-mile Creek, and thence by that creek to the ocean;
thence again towards the west and towards the north by the
ocean to the Buller River.
GREY.
This district is bounded towards the north-east generally
by the Inangahua Electoral District, hereinbefore described,
from the ocean to the saddle between the north branch
of the Hurunui River and the Teremakau River; thence
towards the south by a right line to the source of the
last-named river; thence by the left bank of that river
to the mouth of the Waimea Creek; thence again towards
the north-east by that creek to the road which forms
the northern boundary of Section No. 1379, Block I., Turi-
whate Survey District; thence again towards the south
generally by that road and its continuation in a west-
erly direction to the road which forms the south-western
boundary of Section No. 1356, Block IV., Kanieri Survey
