Powers delegated to the Huirangi Domain Board under
"The Public Domains Act, 1881."

ONSLOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth
day of April, 1890.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by "The Public Domains Act, 1881," His
Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council,
dated the fourth day of November, one thousand eight hun-
dred and seventy-nine, making delegation of certain powers
in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice
and consent, by this present order, delegate, but only with
respect to the piece or parcel of land described in the
Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act afore-
said, except the powers under or conferred by sections five
and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who
shall be known as the Huirangi Domain Board, namely,—

JAMES TURNBULL,
GEORGE GIBSON ANDREWS, and
ROBERT TURNBULL

(herein referred to as "the Board"), subject to the stipu-
lations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
    the first Monday in each month, at two o'clock p.m., at the
    Huirangi Schoolhouse, or at such other time or place as may
    from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting
    shall be held on Monday, the second day of June, one
    thousand eight hundred and ninety.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
    by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
    notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
    the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
    no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
    at such meeting.

  3. Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
    meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

  4. The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
    and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the first
    Monday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
    elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
    discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
    vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
    his successor.

  5. If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
    time appointed for holding the same, the members present
    shall choose some one of their number to be Chairman of
    such meeting.

  6. If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
    the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
    bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
    Chairman.

  7. All questions shall be determined by the majority of
    votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Taranaki,
containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, situate
in the Town of Huirangi, being Sections Nos. 138, 139, 140,
141, 142, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 166, 167, 168, 169, 170, 171,
172, 173, 174, and 175 on the map of the said town.

dated the tenth day of December, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-nine, making delegation of certain powers
in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice
and consent, by this present order, delegate, but only with
respect to the piece or parcel of land described in the
Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act afore-
said, except the powers under or conferred by sections five
and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who
shall be known as the Dunsandel Public Domain Board,
namely,—

PARKER WESTERNRA,
JOHN MAIGON FURZE,
JOHN HENRY,
ALEXANDER IRVINE,
FREDERICK WRIGHT,
JOHN McMILLAN, and
GEORGE LILL

(hereinafter referred to as "the Board"), subject to the

    at Dunsandel, or at such other time or place as may from
    time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall
    be held on Wednesday, the fourteenth day of May, one
    thousand eight hundred and ninety.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
    by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
    notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
    the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
    no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
    at such meeting.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District,
containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 316 (in red), situate in Block VIII., Selwyn
Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a road-
line; towards the south-east by Section 9064, 95'3 links;
towards the south-west by the same section, 1000 links; and
towards the north-west by the Great Southern Railway
Reserve, 1060 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less; as the same is delineated on the map deposited in the
District Survey Office, Christchurch.

Addition to the Panmure Domain brought under "The
Public Domains Act, 1881."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth
day of April, 1890.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the twenty-fourth section of "The Public Reserves
Act, 1881," I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do
hereby order and declare that the reserve made for public
recreation in the Provincial District of Auckland, and known
as the Clifton Recreation-ground, and described in the
Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby brought
under the operation of and declared to be subject to the pro-
visions of "The Public Domains Act, 1881," and such
domain shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt
with, in manner directed by the said Act, by the Domain
Board constituted by an Order in Council issued on the
nineteenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-seven.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
being Allotments Nos. 55 and 56 of Section No. 2 of the Vil-
lage of Panmure, and containing by admeasurement 1 acre
3 roods 22 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-
east by Allotments Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Section No. 2
aforesaid, 570 and 55 links; towards the south-east by a
public road, 379 links; towards the south-west by a public
road, 478 links; and towards the north-west by Allotment
