KNAPDALE ROAD DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in accordance with the powers granted by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” the Knapdale Road Board intends to take for a road deviation all that piece or parcel of land containing 1 acre 3 roods 16 perches, more or less, being part of Section 9, Block XIV., Chatton District, and coloured red on the copy of the plan of same, which plan, together with description of road to be opened and closed, is now lying for inspection at the shop of Bernetto and Martin, Blacksmiths, Chatton, in the road district within which the said lands are situate; and the Knapdale Road Board hereby calls on all persons affected to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of the said parcel of land for a road, or to the execution of the works specified, and to send such writing to the Board within forty days from the 18th day of April, 1890, being the date of the first publication hereof.

THE NEW ZEALAND FROZEN MEAT AND STORAGE COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of sections 202 and 216 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” a General Meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at No. 5, Wyndham Street, Auckland, on Tuesday, the 1st day of July, 1890, at three o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidators; and also of determining, by extraordinary resolution, the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidators thereof shall be disposed of.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and in the matter of the Auckland Roller Mills Company (Limited).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the company, duly convened and held at the company’s office at Auckland on the 10th day of March, 1890, the following resolution was passed, namely:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1882;’ and that John Baird Hobart, of Auckland, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”
And at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened and held at the same place on the 25th day of March, 1890, the above resolution was duly confirmed.
