Result of Poll for Proposed Loan, Masterton Road District, County of Wairarapa North.

THE following notice, received from the Clerk of the Masterton Road Board, is published in accordance with “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886.”

THE following is the result of a poll taken by the Masterton Road Board on the 29th ultimo on the proposal to borrow the sum of £600, under “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” for the purpose of extending the Wangaehu Road to the boundary of the Mauriceville Road District :—
Number of votes exercisable, 6 ; number of votes recorded for proposal, 5 ; number of votes recorded against proposal, nil ; number of votes not recorded, 1.
As the number of ratepayers interested in raising the loan is six, and as a majority voted for the proposal, I hereby declare the same to be duly carried.

THE following is the result of a poll taken by the Rangitumau Road Board on the 5th instant on the proposal to borrow the sum of £600, under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” for the formation of an extension of the road known as Dreyer’s Rock Road to its junction with the Wangaehu Road :—
Number of votes exercisable, 11; number of votes recorded for proposal, 6 ; number of votes recorded against proposal, nil ; number of votes not recorded, 5.
As a majority of the number of ratepayers, having a majority of the number of votes exercisable, voted for the proposal, I hereby declare the same to be duly carried.

Number of votes exercisable, 13 ; number of votes recorded for proposal, 8 ; number of votes recorded against proposal, nil ; number of votes not recorded, 5.
As a majority of the number of ratepayers, having a majority of the number of votes exercisable, voted for the proposal, I hereby declare the same to be duly carried.

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT a special trespass fee shall be levied on all stock found straying upon the Waitotara-Momohaki District roads, as follows: 1s. per head on ordinary horses and cattle, 10s. per head on bulls and entire animals, 5s. per head on pigs, and 2d. per head on sheep.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly made and passed, all the provisions of the Act relating to the same having been duly complied with.
