I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Jacob Quartz-mining Company as a limited com-
pany, under the provisions of “The Mining Companies Act,
1886.”

  1. The name of the company is to be the Jacob Quartz-
    mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of operations is at Nenthorn, in the Provin-
    cial District of Otago.
  3. The registered office of the company will be situate
    at Nenthorn.
  4. The nominal capital of the company is nine thousand
    pounds, in eighteen thousand shares of ten shillings each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is eighteen thou-
    sand, being the whole of the shares in the company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  7. The amount already paid up is two shillings and six-
    pence per share.
  8. The name of the Manager is Michael Patrick Cogan.
  9. The names, addresses, and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date

ger of the Zealandia Quartz-mining Company (Limited),
Nenthorn, do solemnly and sincerely declare that this is a
true and complete statement of the affairs of the said com-
pany at the present date; and I make this solemn declara-
tion conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by
virtue of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

“THE COMPANIES ACT, 1882.”

In the matter of the Civil Service Supply Association of New
Zealand (Limited), in liquidation.
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a general meeting of
the shareholders of the said company, duly convened
and held at the registered office of the company, Queen
Street, Auckland, on Thursday, the 20th day of March, 1890,
the following extraordinary resolution was passed :—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meet-
ing that the association cannot by reason of its liabilities
continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the
same, and accordingly that the association be wound up
voluntarily.”
And that at the same meeting Mr. HENRY WILDING,
Managing Director of the said association, was appointed
Liquidator of the association, and his remuneration was
fixed at the same as he was receiving as Managing Director
at the time of the meeting. And that at the same meeting
Messrs. E. T. DUFAUR and W. C. DALDY, two of the share-
holders in the said association, were appointed to supervise
in all matters arising in such liquidation.
