Waimate comprises the Counties of Waimate and Mackenzie ; and that portion of the Levels Riding, of the County of Geraldine, which is situate south of Tycho Road, and of the road running south-easterly past Claremont and Fairview Post Offices to Otipua Creek, and south of the present Gladstone Electoral District. This district includes also the Borough of Waimate.

Waitaki comprises the whole of the County of Waitaki ; excepting the Riding of Papakaio and that portion of Waiareka Riding situate east of the Waiareka Creek and of the road proceeding through Block IX. to Section 21, Block V., Awamoko Survey District ; and excepting also that portion of the Kakanui Riding east of the Waiareka Creek, and of the road forming the eastern boundaries of Sections 19, 21, and 23, Block VII., Oamaru District ; together with the whole of the County of Waihemo ; that portion of the Hawksbury Riding, of the County of Waikouaiti, west of the Pleasant River, the Main South Road, and the Borough of Hawksbury ; and that part of the Deep Stream Riding, in the County of Taieri, situate east of the Taieri River and north of Three o’Clock Creek. This district includes also the Boroughs of Palmerston and Hampden.

Oamaru comprises the Papakaio Riding, of the County of Waitaki ; and that portion of the Waiareka Riding, of the same county, situate east of the Waiareka Creek and of the road proceeding through Block IX. to Section 21, Block V., Awamoko Survey District ; together with that portion of Kakanui Riding, of the County of Waitaki, east of the Waiareka Creek, and of the road which forms the eastern boundaries of Sections 19, 21, and 23, Block VII., Oamaru District. This district includes also the Borough of Oamaru.

Mount Ida comprises the Teviot Riding, of the County of Tuapeka ; the Ridings of Dunstan, Manuherikia, and Matakanui, in the County of Vincent ; together with the County of Maniototo, the Boroughs of Naseby, Alexandra, and Roxburgh ; and that portion of the Deep Stream Riding, in the County of Taieri, west of the Taieri River.

Port Chalmers comprises the Ridings of North-east Valley, Blueskin, and Merton, of the County of Waikouaiti ; and that part of the Hawksbury Riding, in the same county, south of the Pleasant River and the Main South Road ; together with the Boroughs of Port Chalmers and Hawksbury ; and that portion of the Borough of West Harbour contained within Sawyer’s Bay Ward and St. Leonard’s Ward ; north of Section 24, Upper Harbour West District, near the “White Stone,” and east of Block IX., North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District. This district contains also that portion of the Borough of Maori Hill situate in the present Electoral District of Dunedin West.

Peninsula comprises the County of Peninsula ; and the Boroughs of St. Kilda and Dunedin South ; together with that portion of the Borough of Caversham east of Forbury Road, and that other portion of the same borough situate east of Section 18, Town District, and south of the Main South Road and of the Town Belt of the City of Dunedin.

City of Dunedin comprises the whole of the area included within the boundaries of the City of Dunedin ; together with that portion of the Borough of Roslyn situate south of the Helensburgh Road, east of the Dunedin and East Taieri Road, and south of Kaikorai Valley Road, and of Block V., Lower Kaikorai District ; and that portion of the Borough of Mornington situate north of the Township of Williamsburgh and east of Elgin Road.

Dunedin Suburbs comprises the Borough of North-east Valley ; that portion of the Borough of West Harbour which is contained in Ravensbourne and Rothesay Wards, and in that portion of St. Leonard’s Ward to the west of Upper Harbour West Survey District, and south of Section 23 of the said survey district, near the “White Stone” ; that portion of the Borough of Maori Hill which is situate south of the Waikari Road, of the Balmacewan Road, and of the northern boundary of Block VIII., Upper Kaikorai District ; together with that portion of the Borough of Roslyn which is situate to the north of Helensburgh Road, to the west of Dunedin and North Taieri Road, and to the north of Kaikorai Valley Road and of Block IX., Dunedin and East Taieri District ; that portion of the Borough of Mornington which is situate west of Elgin Road and south of the Township of Fullwood ; and that portion of the Borough of Caversham which is situate west of Section 17, Town District, and north of the Main South Road ; and that other portion of the last-mentioned borough situate west of Forbury Road.

Taieri comprises the whole of the County of Taieri, excepting Deep Stream Riding. This district includes also the Boroughs of Mosgiel and Green Island, and the Town Districts of Grey and Outram.

Bruce comprises the whole of the County of Bruce and the Boroughs of Milton and Kaitangata ; together with that portion of the Waitahuna Riding, of the County of Tuapeka, situate to the south of Waitahuna River.

Clutha comprises the whole of the County of Clutha, the Borough of Balclutha, and that part of the Matura Riding, of the County of Southland, situate north of the Main South Road. This district includes the Town Districts of Clinton and Gordon.

Tuapeka comprises the whole of the County of Tuapeka, excepting the Teviot Riding and that part of the Waitahuna Riding situate south of the Waitahuna River ; together with the Boroughs of Lawrence and Tapanui ; and that part of the Riding of Waikai, in the County of Southland, situate south of a line running due east from East Dome to Tuapeka County.

Mataura comprises the Ridings of Waihopai, Toetoes, and Hokonui, of the County of Southland ; and that portion of the Mataura Riding of the same county south of the Main South Road. This district includes also the Borough of Gore, and the Town Districts of Mataura and Wyndham.

Wakatipu comprises the whole of the County of Lake, the Ridings of Hawea, Clutha, Carrick, Earnscleugh, and Lindis, of the County of Vincent, and the Boroughs of Queenstown, Arrowtown, and Cromwell ; together with that part of the Oreti Riding, of the County of Southland, situate north of Tomogalak Creek and of the southern boundary of Run No. 207 ; and that part of the Waikai Riding, of the same county, situate north of a line running due east from East Dome to Tuapeka County.

Wallace comprises the Counties of Wallace and Fiord ; that part of the Oreti Riding, of the County of Southland, situate south of the Tomogalak Creek and of Run No. 207 ; and that portion of the Riding of Winton, of the County of Southland, situate north of the Oreti Hundred, west of the Winton-Kingston Railway-line, and north-east of the road from Benmore to Gore via Lora Station ; also the Borough of Riverton ; and the Otautau Town District.

Awarua comprises the Ridings of Awarua and Wallacetown, of the County of Southland ; that part of the Riding of Winton, in the same county, south of the Taringatura District, east of the Winton-Kingston Railway, and south of the Benmore-Gore Road via Lora Station ; together with the Boroughs of Winton and Campbelltown ; and that part of the Borough of South Invercargill situate south of the northern boundary-lines of Sections 7, 39, 45, and 57, Invercargill Hundred, and of the Seaward Bush Railway-line. This district includes also Stewart Island, Centre Island, and Dog Island, and all adjacent islands.

Invercargill comprises the Boroughs of Invercargill, North Invercargill, East Invercargill, Avenal, and Gladstone ; and that portion of the Borough of South Invercargill situate north of Section 7, Block III., and Sections 39, 45, and 57, Block XIX., Invercargill Hundred, and of the Seaward Bush Railway-line.
