THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Notice is hereby given that, at a sitting to be opened at
Palmerston North, on the 1st day of February, 1890, the
Native Land Court will proceed to make inquiry into the
nature of the titles to the said lands, and into the nature
of any trusts affecting such titles, and to make such orders
thereon as may appear proper; and at such sitting all
persons, whether Native or European, claiming title to such
lands, or to any estate therein, are hereby required to attend.

thereby brought within its jurisdiction with respect to the
lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto.

Land Transfer Act Notices.
WHEREAS declarations have been lodged with me
made by the registered Proprietor of Sections 1A and
2, Block VI., Blackstone District, and by JOHN GAGE, of
Dunedin, Sharebroker, of the loss of the Crown grant for the
said land, Register-book, Vol. lvi., folio 139: I hereby give
notice that I intend to issue a provisional certificate of title
for the said land to GEORGE TURNBULL, of Blackstone
District, Miller, the registered Proprietor thereof, unless
caveat be lodged here forbidding the same within fourteen
days from the date of publication hereof.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND DISTRICT.
In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and in the
matter of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Com-
pany of New Zealand (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District,
dated the 20th day of December, 1889, confirming the can-
cellation and reduction of the capital of the above-named
company from £125,000 to £115,625, and the minute (ap-
proved by the Court) showing, with respect to the capital of
the company as altered, the several particulars required by
the above statute, were registered by the Registrar of Joint-
stock Companies on the 20th day of December, 1889.
And further take notice that the said minute is in the
words and figures following, namely: "The capital of the
Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New
Zealand (Limited) is from henceforth £115,625, divided into
25,000 shares of £4 12s. 6d. each upon each of the 21,669
issued shares, of which the sum of 15s. has been and is to be
deemed paid up, instead of the original capital of £125,000,
divided into 25,000 shares of £5 each, with £1 2s. 6d. per
share paid up upon each of the issued shares."

AN extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of
the Onehunga Public Hall Company (Limited), held
at Onehunga, on the 6th day of December, 1889, called for
the purpose of confirming a special resolution passed at an
adjourned extraordinary general meeting held on the 19th
November, 1889, it was resolved and unanimously agreed to,
"That the company be wound up voluntarily." Also, "That
Messrs. William Stevenson, James Beaver, and William
Brierly be appointed Liquidators."
