I N the matter of several applications for rehearing here-
toföre made, in respect of a decision of the Court given
at Tologa Bay, on the 23rd day of August, 1888, making
partition of land known as Tokomaru:
We hereby certify that we have examined the above state-
ment with the books and vouchers of the Nelson Savings
Bank and find the same correct, and that the sum of £2,249
6s. 11d. stands to the credit of the account at the Bank of
New Zealand, Nelson.
Upon inquiry in open Court as to the said application for
rehearing, held at Gisborne, on the 24th day of November,
1888, by the Chief Judge, assisted by Nikorima Poutotara,
an Assessor of the Court:

I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court,
and in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me,
do hereby order that a rehearing, as between the non-sellers
(that is, such of the Native owners as had not sold their
shares in the land) and the purchaser of shares, in respect
of such of the divisions ordered by the said decision between
non-sellers and purchaser as the appellate Court may be of
opinion effected, by reason of the relative quality as dis-
tinguished from area, of the parcels severally awarded to
non-sellers and purchaser, injustice between such non-sellers
and purchaser, be had on the 12th day of March, 1889, at a
sitting of the Court to be then held at Gisborne.

I N the matter of a decision of the Court given on the
14th day of October, 1887, at Gisborne, upon the hearing
of a claim for partition of land called Wharekopae No 1B,
situate in the said district, and in the matter of an applica-
tion for a rehearing of the said claim made by writing, dated
the 4th day of November, 1887, on behalf of Amiria Tipoki,
a Native feeling herself, as Trustee of Keita Rangiwhaitiri
(alleged to be an infant), aggrieved by the said decision:

I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court,
in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me, do
hereby order that a rehearing as to such part of the said
land as was, or ought by the said decision to have been
awarded, in satisfaction of the estate and interest at any
time had by the said Keita Rangiwhaitiri in the said land,
and as to the question of the ownership of the said part, and
also as to the said partition, so far as it affected the estate
of Pimia Hinetuhia, be had on the 12th day of March, 1889,
at a sitting of the Court to be then held at Gisborne afore-
said.

We hereby certify that we have examined the above state-
ment with the books and vouchers of the bank and find the
same correct, and that the mortgage securities are in full
force and virtue, and that the amount of £2,249 6s. 11d.
stands to the credit of the account at the Bank of New

for sale by public auction, at the Crown Lands Office, Auck-
land, on Friday, the 22nd February next, at 11 a.m.
I, John Edwin Macdonald, Chief Judge of the said Court,
in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in me,
do order that there shall be a rehearing upon the said sub-
division so far as the Court that made the same had juris-
diction necessary therefor, and so far as I, with the concur-
rence aforesaid, have authority to make this order; and that
such rehearing be had at Hastings, on the 12th day of March,
1889.
