SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, situate in the Opotiki District, known as the Race-
course Reserve, being Lot No. 333 of the Parish of Waioeka,
containing by admeasurement 125 acres, more or less.
Bounded towards the north by Lot No. 335, 3581 links;
towards the east by a road, 100 links wide, 4050 links;
towards the south by a road, of width aforesaid, 5907 links
and towards the west by a road, of width aforesaid, 6861
links.
Also all that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial
District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 174 acres
1 rood, more or less, situate in the Parish of Waiceka, and
being Lots Nos. 82, 83, 84, and 85. Bounded towards the
north-east by a road, 100 links wide, 4628 links; the south-
east by a road, of width aforesaid, 2520 links; the south-
west by a road, of width aforesaid, 5695 and 433 links; the
west by Lot No. 81, 1370 links; the north by Lot No. 80,
3500 links; and again towards the west by Lot No. 80 afore-
said and a road, of width aforesaid, 2840, 170, and 640 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day
of February, 1889.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by "The Public Domains Act, 1881," His
Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
thereof, doth hereby revoke certain Orders in Council dated
the second day of April, one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-three, and the ninth day of April, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-eight, making delegation of certain
powers in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the
like advice and consent, by this present order, delegate, but
only with respect to the pieces or parcels of land described in
the Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act
aforesaid, except the powers under or conferred by sections
five and twelve thereof, to
The OPOTIKI TOWN BOARD,
which shall be known as the Opotiki (Town) Public Domain
Board (herein referred to as "the Board"), subject to the
stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,-

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
the first Monday in each month, at seven o'clock p.m., at
the office of the Chairman, or at such other time or place as
may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first
meeting shall be held on Monday, the fourth day of March,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine. -
Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying
the business to be transacted at such special meeting, and
no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
at such meeting. -
Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
meeting may be adjourned from time to time. -
The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the first
Wednesday in March in every succeeding year thereafter,
elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
his successor. -
If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
time appointed for holding the same, the members present
shall choose some one of their number to be Chairman of
such meeting. -
If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise,
the office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the mem-
bers may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a
Chairman. -
All questions shall be determined by the majority of
votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 3
roods, more or less, being Allotments Nos. 12, 13, and 28 of
Section No. 1, in the Town of Opotiki, Parish of Waiceka,
and County of Opotiki. Bounded on the north by a street,
100 links wide, 200 links; on the east by Allotments Nos. 14
and 27, 500 links; on the south by a street, of width afore-
said, 100 links; on the west by Allotment No. 29, 250 links;
again on the south by Allotment No. 29 aforesaid, 100 links;
and again on the west by Allotment No. 11, 250 links.
All that piece or parcel of land called or known as Lots
168, 169, 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 177, 207, 208, 209,
210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, and 216 of Section No. 1, Town
of Opotiki, Parish of Waioeka, Block III., Opotiki Survey
District, Provincial District of Auckland, and containing by
admeasurement 5 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the
north by Victoria Street, 1000 links; thence towards the east
by John Street, 500 links; thence towards the south by
Princess Street, 1000 links; thence towards the west by
Church Street, 500 links, to the point of commencement: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, containing by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less,
being Lots Nos. 84, 85, 86, 130, 131, and 132 of Section 2 of
the Town of Opotiki, Opotiki Survey District. Bounded
towards the north by Richard Street, 600 links; towards the
east by Lot No. 443, 1000 links; towards the south by Ford
Street, 600 links; and towards the west by Malcolm Street,
1000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
