MANCHESTER ROAD BOARD.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Manchester Road
Board intends to take 2 acres and 5 perches out of
the Tokorangi Reserve, and 2 acres 2 roods 4.8 perches out of
the Reureu Reserve, both of such reserves being in the Man-
chester Road District, for the construction of a road from
the Makino Road to Section 4, Subdivision B, Manchester
Block.
The plan of the said lands is open for inspection at the
office of the Manchester Road Board, Feilding.
All persons affected by the taking of such land and the
construction of such road must send in their objections, if
any, to the Chairman of the Manchester Road Board, within
forty days from the first publication of this notice.
The width of the road to be constructed is 1 chain, and
the formation therein will be about 15ft. wide.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the
Waitotara County Council to execute a certain public
work, to wit, the construction of a road at Nukumaru, in
the County of Waitotara, in the Provincial District of Wel-
lington; and for the purposes of such public work to take,
under the provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and
the amendments thereof, the lands described in the Schedule
hereto. And notice is hereby further given that a copy of
the plan of the said road and of the lands so required to be
taken is deposited at the store of Messrs. Brown Brothers,
at Maxwelltown, in the said county, and is there open for
inspection. And notice is hereby further given that all
persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any
well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in
writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the
first publication of this notice, to the Waitotara County
Council, at Wanganui.
SCHEDULE.
FIRSTLY, all that piece or parcel of land situated at Nuku-
maru, containing 20-3 perches, more or less, being part of
Section No. 44, Block XIII., in the Nukumaru Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded towards the north by Russell Road, 50 links;
towards the east by other part of said Section No. 44, 254-7
links; towards the south by Section No. 68 of said Block
XIII., 50 links; and towards the west by other part of said
Section No. 44 (belonging to W. F. Russell, Esq.), 254-7
links.
Secondly, all that piece or parcel of land situated at
Nukumaru aforesaid, containing 2 roods 7.5 perches, more or
less; bounded towards the north by aforesaid Section No.
44, 1042.4 links; towards the east by Section No. 65 in the
said block, 50 links; and towards the south and west by
other part of said Section No. 68, 1042.4 and 50 links re-
spectively.

and registered in Munich, hereby give notice that I have this
day, 18th October, 1889, deposited my diploma with the
Registrar of the Christchurch District; and that I shall
apply to be registered under the New Zealand Medical Act
on the 18th day of November, 1889.
