Sitting of Court to hear and determine upon Applications
for Rehearing.

Auckland, 7th September, 1889.

N OTICE is hereby given that the Chief Judge, sitting
with an Assessor, will, in open Court, at Otorohanga,
on the 22nd day of October, 1889, hear and determine upon
the several applications for rehearing mentioned in the
Schedule hereto. All persons interested in the said
applications are required to to attend at the time and place
aforesaid.

Sitting of the Native Land Court.

N OTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Native
Land Court will be held at Shortland, Thames, on
the 8th day of October, 1889, for the purpose of ascertaing
what amount of compensation ought to be paid to the Native
owners of the lands specified in the Schedule hereto, taken
under Orders in Council dated respectively the 8th and the
21st days of August, 1888, for the purpose of making a rail-
way in the District of Kumeu, Thames, and Waihou; and
also for the purpose of ascertaining who are the proper
persons to receive such compensation.
