Anderson’s Bay, bounded towards the north-west and south-west generally by the Borough of St. Kilda, from the Borough of Caversham to the westernmost corner of Section No. 187R, Block VII., Otago Peninsula Survey District; thence again towards the north-west by Sections Nos. 77 and 76, Block VII., Town Survey District, to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence by a right line to the westernmost corner of Section No. 1, Block III., Anderson’s Bay Survey District; thence towards the north-east generally by Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 13 of the said Block III., and Section No. 16, Block I., Anderson’s Bay Survey District aforesaid, to a lagoon; thence again towards the north-west by the said Section No. 16 and Sections Nos. 13 and 12 of the said Block I., and Sections Nos. 6 and 12, Block VII., and Section No. 10, Block VIII., Anderson’s Bay Survey District aforesaid; again towards the north-east by Section No. 25, Block I., Otago Peninsula Survey District; again towards the north-west by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 25 aforesaid; again towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 24, 26, 27, 31, 32, and 34, all of Block I., Otago Peninsula Survey District aforesaid; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 37 and 38 of the last-mentioned block to the south-western corner of the said Section No. 38.; thence towards the east by a line due south to the ocean; thence towards the south generally by the ocean to the Borough of Caversham; and thence again towards the south-west by the said Borough of Caversham to the Borough of St. Kilda.

PENINSULA ROAD DISTRICT.—AMENDED BOUNDARIES.
ALL that area in the County of Peninsula bounded towards the north and north-west generally by Otago Harbour and by the Portobello Road District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 36, 30th April, 1883; towards the north-east by the said Portobello Road District, by Hooper’s Inlet, and the ocean; towards the south by the ocean; towards the south-west and south generally by the Tomahawk Road District, hereinbefore described; again towards the south-west by the Borough of St. Kilda; and again towards the north-west by the Borough of South Dunedin.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of September, 1889.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Public Domains Act, 1881,” His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the ninth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, making delegation of certain powers in manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice and consent, by this present order, delegate, but only with respect to the pieces or parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act aforesaid, except the powers under or conferred by sections five and twelve thereof, to the under-mentioned persons, who shall be known as the Te Aroha Public Domain Board, namely,—

FRANCIS PAVITT,
EDWARD GALLAGHER,
HENRY DUNBAR JOHNSON
(hereinafter referred to as “the Board”), subject to the stipulations hereinafter contained, that is to say,—

The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on the first Friday in each month, at three o’clock p.m., at Te Aroha, or at such other time or place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board. The first meeting shall be held on Friday, the fourth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine.

Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or by any two members of the Board, provided that two days’ notice of such meeting be given to each member, specifying the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and no other business than that so specified shall be transacted at such meeting.

Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting, and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the first Friday in January in every succeeding year thereafter, elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of his successor.

If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the time appointed for holding the same, the members present shall choose some one of their number to be Chairman of such meeting.

If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise, the office of Chairman shall be, or become vacant, the members may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a Chairman.

All questions shall be determined by the majority of votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 121 acres, more or less, being the northern portion of Section No. 5, Block XI., Te Aroha Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland. Bounded on the north by Township Reserve, 1271 links; on the north-east by a public road, 3279 links; on the south-east by southern portion of Section No. 5, 5085 links; and on the west by Section No. 4, 5911 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 39 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 8, Block XI., Te Aroha Survey District, Provincial District of Auckland. Bounded on the north by Township Reserve, 594 links; towards the north-east by Section No. 13, Block IX., 1392 links; towards the east by a public road in a curve; towards the south-east by Section No. 6, 980 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 2606 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 8A, 1420 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of September, 1889.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the one hundred and sixty-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor in Council may fix the terms and conditions upon which the lands comprised in any village settlement shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same:
And whereas some of the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto were set apart as village settlements, and the terms and conditions of sale were fixed by Orders in Council issued on the seventeenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, the first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, the fifth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, the fifteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, the seventh day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, the nineteenth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and the twenty-sixth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, and it is necessary to revoke the said Orders in Council in so far as they relate to the said sections:
And whereas His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand has, by Proclamation issued under the provisions of section one hundred and sixty-six of the said Act and the fourteenth section of “The Land Acts Amendment Act, 1888,” set apart the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto as village settlements:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the hereinbefore in part recited Acts, and by and with the advice of the Executive Council thereof, doth, by this present order, revoke, the said Orders in Council of the seventeenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, the first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, the fifth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, the fifteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and
