tural and Pastoral Association.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day
of September, 1889.
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by
"The Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1877,"
His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby incorporate the members of
the Palmerston and Waihemo County Agricultural and
Pastoral Association into a corporate body under the said
Act, under the style and title of "The Palmerston and
Waihemo County Agricultural and Pastoral Association."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day
of September, 1889.
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by "The Public Domains Act, 1881," His
Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Coun-
cil thereof, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council,
dated the eighth day of February, one thousand eight hun-
dred and eighty-one, making delegation of certain powers in
manner as therein appears; and doth, with the like advice
and consent, by this present order, delegate, but only with
respect to the piece or parcel of land described in the
Schedule hereto, all the powers conferred by the Act afore-
said, except the powers under or conferred by sections five
and twelve thereof, to

The COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL,
which shall be known as the Buffalo Public Domain Board
(herein referred to as "the Board"), subject to the stipula-
tions hereinafter contained, that is to say, -

  1. The Board shall meet for the transaction of business on
    the first Monday in each month, at eight o'clock p.m., at
    the office of the County Council, or at such other time or
    place as may from time to time be fixed by the Board.
    The first meeting shall be held on Monday, the seventh day
    of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine.

  2. Special meetings may be convened by the Chairman or
    by any two members of the Board, provided that two days'
    notice of such mecting be given to each member, specifying
    the business to be transacted at such special meeting; and
    no other business than that so specified shall be transacted
    at such meeting.

  3. Any three of the said Board shall form a quorum. Any
    meeting may be adjourned from time to time.

  4. The members of the Board shall, at their first meeting,
    and thereafter at an annual meeting to be held on the first
    Monday in January in every succeeding year thereafter,
    elect one of themselves to be Chairman, who may join in the
    discussion, and shall have an original as well as a casting
    vote. The Chairman shall hold office until the election of
    his successor.

  5. If at any meeting the Chairman is not present at the
    time appointed for holding the same, the members present
    shall choose some one of their number to be Chairman of
    such meeting.

  6. If, by resignation, death, or incapacity, or otherwise, the
    office of Chairman shall be or become vacant, the members
    may at any monthly or special meeting appoint a Chairman.

  7. All questions shall be determined by the majority of
    votes of the members of the Board present at a meeting.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 17
acres 3 roods 14 perches, more or less, being Lot No. 32 of
the Village of Buffalo, Coromandel Survey District, Provincial
District of Auckland. Bounded towards the north-east by a
line, 1202 links; towards the south-east by a line, 1505 links;
towards the south-west by Allotments Nos. 31 and 34, the
termination of a road, and again by Allotments Nos. 22, 14,
13, and 12, 1701 links; and towards the north-west by a road,
1855 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Vaccination Districts constituted.

ONSLOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the
Governor by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, William
Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination districts
known as the Castlepoint and Masterton Districts; and do
declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the
said districts is hereby divided anew into three vaccination
districts, the names whereof shall be the Pahiatua, Castle-
point, and Masterton Districts, and the boundaries whereof
shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage
districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Pro-
clamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions
of "The Marriage Act, 1880."

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirtieth day of August, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-nine.

Land temporarily reserved in the Land Districts of Auck-
land, Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Nelson, and Otago.

ONSLOW, Governor.

WHEREAS by the two hundred and twenty-seventh
section of "The Land Act, 1885," it is enacted that
the Governor may from time to time, either by general or
particular description, and whether the same has been sur-
veyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding
that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pur-
suance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land
in the Land Districts of Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, and
Otago, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the
purposes in the said Schedule specified.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND.

ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 9 acres, more or less, and
being Section 160 of the Parish of Onewhero. Bounded
towards the north by Section No. 161, Parish of Onewhero,
1189 links; towards the east by a public road, 100 links wide,
505 links; thence towards the south and again towards the
east by Section No. 159, Parish of Onewhero aforesaid, 594
and 505 links; again towards the south by Section No.
158, Parish of Onewhero, 594 links; and towards the
west by Section No. 158 aforesaid, 1009 links: be all the
aforesaid measurements more or less. For a site for public
buildings.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less, and
being Section No. 161 of the Parish of Onewhero. Bounded
towards the north by a right-of-way, 50 links wide, 1189 links;
towards the east by a public road, 100 links wide, 505 links;
towards the south by Section No. 160, Parish of Onewhero,
1189 links; and towards the west by Section No. 158, Parish
of Onewhero aforesaid, 505 links: be all the aforesaid measure-
ments more or less. For a school-site.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
being southern portion of Lot No. 79, Parish of Kaiwaka, and
containing by admeasurement 73 acres and 32 perches, more
or less. Bounded towards the north-east by Lot No. 80,
1638 links; towards the south-east by north-eastern and
south-western portions of Lot No. 76 and by Lot No. 113,
4477 links; towards the south-west by south-eastern and
middle portions of Lot No. 78, 1638 links; and towards the
north-west by north-western, middle, and eastern portions of
Lot No. 79, 4493 links; all of the Parish of Kaiwaka: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is
delineated on the plan deposited in the Survey Office, Auck-
land. For recreation.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 3 acres, more or less, and
being Section No. 159 of the Parish of Onewhero. Bounded
towards the north by Section No. 160, Parish of Onewhero,
594 links; towards the east by a public road, 100 links wide,
505 links; towards the south by Section No. 158, Parish of
Onewhero aforesaid, 594 links; and towards the west by
Section No. 160 aforesaid, 505 links: be all the aforesaid
measurements more or less. For a site for a cemetery.

All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
being Section No. 41 of the Parish of Manurewa, and con-
taining by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 10 perches, more or
less. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 520
links; towards the south-east by a public road, 350 and
