Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of a Road over
Land in the Wellington Provincial District.
(L.S.) ONSLOW, Governor:
A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Hillier, Earl of
Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do here-
by proclaim that the road described in the Schedule hereto
has been duly taken and laid off through the land specified,
under warrant of the date given in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that generally regular piece of land, not less than 1
chain wide, the centre of which commences at a point
marked C, being road Traverse Station No. 86, in the Mata-
pihi Block, Block XIII., Kopuaranga Survey District; and
proceeds thence in a northerly and easterly direction, by
points marked F and D, to a point marked E on the western
boundary-line of Section No. 53, Block XIV., Kopuaranga
Survey District, and distant 85 links from its north-western
corner.
Also all that regular piece of land, 1 chain wide, the
centre of which commences at a point marked F, being
Traverse Station No. 48, in the Matapihi Block, Block XIII.,
Kopuaranga Survey District; and proceeds thence on a
bearing of north 14° 23′ west, 590 links; and from thence on
a bearing of north 7° 55′ east to its intersection with the
Kairangi Stream, at a point marked G.
As the same pieces of land are more particularly deline-
ated on the plans marked Survey Office 633-37, deposited in
the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.
Date of Governor's warrant, 7th May, 1888.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, of
Onslow in the County of Salop; Viscount Cranley,
of Cranley in the County of Surrey; Baron
Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop, and
of West Clandon in the County of Surrey; Baron
Cranley, of Imbercourt; Baronet; Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George; Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-
Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal
of the said Colony, at the Government House,
at Wellington, this twenty-fourth day of July, in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-nine.

wide, the western boundary of which commences at a point
marked B where the western boundary of the Matawhitia
Block meets the Wangaehu River, Block XI., Mangawhero
Survey District; and proceeds thence generally in a northerly
direction over the said Matawhitia Block to a point marked
A at the north-west corner of the said block: as the same
piece of land is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
Survey Office 4509-1, deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Wellington.
Date of Governor's warrant, 1st March, 1887.
