Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of a Road over
Land in the Nelson Provincial District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Hillier, Earl
of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule
hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the land
specified under warrant of the date given in the said
Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL those parcels of land in the Nelson Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 25 perches, 1 acre 2 roods, and 2
acres 1 rood 39 perches respectively, more or less, being parts
of Section No. 61, Square 9, Motueka Survey District:β€”

Portion containing 25 perches: Commencing at a point on
the northern boundary of said Section No. 61 distant 1035.4
links eastward from the north-western corner of that sec-
tion. Bounded towards the north by the said northern
boundary of Section No. 61, 142.1 links; towards the south-
east by lines, 39.5 and 223.8 links respectively; and towards
the west by a line, 211.3 links, to the starting-point.

Portion containing 1 acre 2 roods: A strip of land, about 50
links wide, the western side of which commences at a point
on the northern boundary of Section No. 61 distant 1514.5
links from the north-western corner of that section, and con-
tinuing thence in a general south-easterly direction to the
road forming the western boundary of Section No. 4 of 61,
at a point 420 links from the north-western corner of that
section.

Portion containing 2 acres 1 rood 39 perches: A strip of
land, about 50 links wide, the western side of which com-
mences at the south-western corner of Section No. 61, and
continues thence in a northerly direction for a distance of
951 links; thence in a general easterly direction through said
Section No. 61 to the road forming the western boundary of
Section No. 4 of 61, at the south-eastern corner of said
Section No. 61.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same
are delineated on Map No. 11868-3, deposited in the Survey
Office, Nelson.

Date of Governor's warrant, 25th November, 1880.

of the said Colony, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this sixth day of August, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
eighty-nine.

Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-sixth
section of "The Land Act, 1885," and the fourteenth section
of "The Land Acts Amendment Act, 1888," I, William
Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby set apart the lands enumerated in the
Schedule to an Order in Council of even date herewith, and
made under the one hundred and sixty-seventh section of
the said Act, for sale as a village settlement, upon such
terms and conditions as are set forth in the said Order in
Council.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, of
Onslow in the County of Salop; Viscount Cranley,
of Cranley in the County of Surrey; Baron Onslow,
of Onslow in the County of Salop, and of West
Clandon in the County of Surrey; Baron Cranley,
of Imbercourt; Baronet; Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
