All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 1 rood, more or less, situate in the Patetere North Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the Waotu North No. 2c Block (No. 5221²c); commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of the Waotu North 2r Block at a distance of 857·2 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly generally for a distance of 13173 links or thereabouts to a point on the north-western boundary of the Waotu North 2r Block at a distance of 2686 links or thereabouts from the north-western angle of that block: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4587A, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 4th August, 1887.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 13 perches, more or less, situate in the Patetere North Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the north-western portion of the Waotu North No. 2r Block (No. 5221²r); commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 2686 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-westerly generally for a distance of 5639 links or thereabouts to a point on the south-western boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 3070·6 links or thereabouts from its north-western angle: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4587B, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 4th August, 1887.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight.

Proclaiming Land in the Wellington Provincial District a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the thirteenth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the portions of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall henceforth be used as a public road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of Crown land heretofore reserved as a public road, 50 links wide, situate in Blocks VIII. and XIII., Belmont Survey District, the centre of which commences at a point distant 32½ links from the south-eastern angle of Section No. 16, Hutt, on a prolongation easterly of the southern boundary of the said section; and from thence proceeds generally in a north-easterly direction to a point distant 32½ links from the north-eastern angle of Te Mome No. 1 Block, in Section No. 20, Hutt, on a prolongation easterly of the northern boundary of the said Te Mome No. 1 Block: as the said land is more particularly shown on the plan marked C30, and deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington.

Land taken for Roads in Upper Mahurangi Road District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and its amendments, for certain works, to wit, the construction of roads in Upper Mahurangi Road District: And whereas the Upper Mahurangi Road Board has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by maps, and also the statutory declaration, required by the said Act and the amendments thereof:

Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of the said roads.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the Proclamation of the seventeenth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-six, by His Excellency the Governor, setting apart the section of land mentioned in the Schedule thereto for leasing as small grazing runs shall be and the same is hereby revoked in so far as it relates to the section mentioned in the Schedule hereto.
