No. 3870.—HENRY ELY SHACKLOCK, of Dunedin, New Zealand, Ironfounder, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for a flue and ventilator, to be known as “Shacklock’s Patent Take-all Flue and Ventilator.”
No. 3871.—JAMES GEORGE SCOTT, of Cameron Street, Kensington, Dunedin, New Zealand, Carpenter, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for a folding ladder, to be called “Scott’s Improved Folding Ladder.”
No. 3872.—JAMES WILLIAM FAULKNER, of Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand, has deposited at this office a specification of an invention for iron and steel standards with angle or T feet, to be called “Faulkner’s Cattle-standards.”
No. 3873. — WILLIAM ANDREWS and ARTHUR WARD BEAVEN, of Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand, carrying on business in copartnership as Engineers, under the name “Andrews and Beaven,” have deposited at this office a specification of an invention for improvements in chaff, bran, &c., -bagging machines.
And I have appointed Tuesday, the 12th day of November next, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the said applications and all objections thereto; and I require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of any such Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 28th day of October next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections to any of the said applications, otherwise they will be precluded from urging the same.
