Forfeited Sections on Deferred-Payment.
Police Department (Commissioner's Office),
Wellington, 1st August, 1889.
THE unclaimed property described hereunder, and now
in possession of the police at the stations named, will,
unless previously claimed, be sold by public auction, at the
respective police offices, on Saturday, the 24th instant, at
noon, in accordance with the police regulations:—
Auckland: Revolver, set of harness, and spanner.
Waipawa: Silver watch.
Gisborne: Silver brooch and child's cape.
New Plymouth: Scarf-pin.
Wanganui: Silver brooch and belt.
Wellington: Three watches, silver chain, brooch, green-
stone pendant, scarf-pin, 11lb. tobacco, and sundries.
Nelson: Sundries.
Blenheim: Four rings, ladies' silver watch, guard, and
sundries.
Oamaru: Sundries.
Dunedin: Watch and chain, clothing, and sundries.

missioners appointed in pursuance of section 9 of "The
Land Acts Amendment Act, 1888" have reported to His
Excellency the Governor that the lands described in the
Schedule hereto have been classified by them as therein
noted.

SCHEDULE.
CLASS I.—PASTORAL LANDS, being Lands suitable exclu-
sively for Pasturage, and not capable of being used with
Profit in Areas of less than Five Thousand Acres.
Run 233, 27,700 acres, situated in the Waitaki and Vincent
Counties. Bounded on the north-east by the Ahuriri River;
on the south generally by Longslip Creek, Raynold's Gully,
and Runs 233A and 235; and on the west by a wire fence and
Birch Creek, being boundary of Run 429A.
Run 335A, 22,660 acres, situated in the Vincent County.
Bounded on the north generally by watershed of the
Timaru River; on the east by Lindis Burn; on the south by
Breast Burn; and on the west generally by Run 335D and
the Timaru River.
Run 429A, 16,080 acres, situated in the Waitaki and
Vincent Counties. Bounded on the north by Run 429; on
the east by the Ahuriri River and Run 233; on the south by
Run 235; and on the west by Run 335A and the watershed
between Dingle Burn and the Ahuriri River.
Run 433, 24,100 acres, situated in the Vincent County.
Bounded on the north by the Provincial District of Canter-
bury; on the east by Run 429A; on the south by Runs 335A
and 335B; and on the west by Lake Hawea and the Hunter
River.
Excepting out of the above descriptions all timbered lands
and surveyed sections.
