Special Scale of Fares, Rates, and Charges on certain New Zealand Railways and the New Zealand
Midland Company's Railway.

WHEREAS an agreement has been entered into between the New Zealand Railway Commissioners
and the New Zealand Midland Railway Company (Limited), providing that trains and rolling-
stock the property of the Company may be run upon the Government railway, and that rolling-stock
the property of the Commissioners may be run upon the railway the property of the Company:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the powers conferred by "The Government Railways Act, 1887," the
New Zealand Railway Commissioners do hereby fix the following regulations and scale of fares, rates,
and charges, in addition to the regulations and scale of fares, rates, and charges for the New Zealand
Railways, to come into force on the 1st day of July, 1889.

The common seal of the New Zealand Railway Commissioners was hereunto
affixed, this twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and (L.S.)

  1. Fares will be charged as specified in the "Schedule of Fares" following except otherwise provided for hereafter:—

THROUGH FARES between Stations on the Government Railway from Greymouth to Brunnerton, and the Midland Railway
Company's Line from Brunnerton to Kaimata and from Brunnerton to Ngahere.
