NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land hereinafter described will be brought under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or before the 1st day of July, 1889.

Mining Notices.
I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register the National Gold-mining Company (Limited) as a Limited Company, under the provisions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1886."
- The name of the company is to be the National Gold-mining Company (Limited).
- The place of intended operations is at Big River, County of Inangahua, Colony of New Zealand.
- The registered office of the company will be situated at Bridge Street, Reefton, in the county and colony aforesaid.
- The capital of the company is twelve thousand pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of ten shillings each.
- The number of shares subscribed for is twenty-four thousand, being the entire number of shares in the company.
- The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is nil.

APPLICATION TO ENTER A DISCLAIMER.
PATENT for an INVENTION for Poisoning the Inside or Flowery Portion of Grain, with the Object of Poisoning Small Birds and Vermin. Dated 7th May, 1888. No. 2971.
THIS is to notify to all whom it may concern that JOHN MILES CAMBRIDGE, of Ashburton, Chemist, has applied to me for leave to enter a disclaimer of the said invention, the particulars whereof are stated below. I do therefore appoint Tuesday, the 2nd day of July next, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, to hear and consider the said application and all objections to the same; and I do hereby require all persons having an interest in opposing the said application to leave, on or before the 17th day of June, at my office, in Wellington, particulars in writing of their objections to the same, otherwise they will be precluded from urging such objections.
