of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and
acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all
restrictions imposed by the said Crown grant on the aliena-
tion of the said land are hereby removed.

Particulars of Grant or Instru- ment containing Restrictions. Description of Lands.
Crown grant in favour of Ropiha Moturoa, dated the 12th July, 1880, and contain- ing the following restriction: "Inalienable by sale, lease or mortgage for a longer period than twenty-one years, with- out the consent of the Go- vernor previously obtained." All that piece or parcel of land in the District of Wel- lington, containing 2 acres 3 roods 23 perches, and known by the name of Orangi Kau- papa No. 1.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this first day
of May, 1889.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERN-
MENT IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
are required to be taken for a public work, to wit,
the construction of a road in the Otaki Road District:

And whereas the said lands are held or occupied by Native
owners:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the
amendments thereof, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order that the public work
hereinbefore mentioned shall and may be constructed on or
through the parcels of land more particularly mentioned in
the Schedule hereto.

parcels of land are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 16065, deposited in the General Survey
Office, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Welling-
ton.

Vaccination Districts constituted.

ONSLOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in the
Governor by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, William
Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing vaccination districts
known as the East Oxford, West Oxford, and Rangiora Dis-
tricts; and do declare that the territory heretofore com-
prised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into
two vaccination districts, the names whereof shall be the
Oxford and Rangiora Districts, and the boundaries whereof
shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage
districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Pro-
clamation dated the eleventh day of May instant, made under
the provisions of "The Marriage Act, 1880."

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this sixteenth day of May, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-nine.
