Zealand, Civil Engineer, has deposited at this office a
specification of an invention for improvements in machinery
for separating gold from sand tailings, &c., to be called
"Jones's Improved Gold-winner."

No. 3683.—GEORGE THOMAS BOOTH and JOHN EDWARD
TOUCH, both of Christchurch, New Zealand, Engineers, have
deposited at this office a specification of an invention for a
new or improved method of levelling and making true the
drums of flax-strippers.

office a specification of an invention for improvements in the

of an invention for a suspender, to be called "The Home
Rule Suspender."

And I have appointed Thursday, the 25th day of July
next, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the
said applications and all objections thereto; and I require all
persons having an interest in opposing the grant of any such
Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 10th day of July
next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections
to any of the said applications, otherwise they will be pre-
cluded from urging the same.

centrifugal action, to be called "Brown's Patent Short-fibre
Disintegrator."

No. 3689.—JAMES FORSYTH, of Dunedin, Otago, New Zea-
land, Clerk, New Zealand Railways, has deposited at this
office a specification of an invention for the protection of the
public from accidents by trains or tramcars crossing street-
lines or level crossings, and for improvements in and in
connection with a new and self-acting system of signalling
railway-trains.

Zealand, Manufacturing Chemist, has deposited at this
office a specification of an invention for "Dalby's Sapolio,
a cleansing and polishing Compound."
