H AROLD O'BRIEN, Esquire, Solicitor, of Goulburn, in
the Colony of New South Wales, was appointed, on
the 23rd day of April, 1889, by His Honour the Chief Justice, a
Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in New
South Wales, under the second section of "The Commis-
sioners of the Supreme Court Act, 1875," for the purpose of
administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and
affirmations as in the said section mentioned.

the Counties of Whangaroa and Hawera, are published
for general information.

SPECIAL ORDER made by the COUNCIL of the COUNTY of
WHANGAROA On the 9th June, 1887.
THAT on and after the 4th July, 1887, the Kaeo, Whanga-
roa, and Totara Road Districts be merged in the county.
SPECIAL ORDER made by the COUNCIL of the COUNTY of
HAWERA.
THAT the Hawera Road District be merged in the Hawera
County, and that such road district be so merged, and cease
to exist as from the 30th June, 1888.
