Vaccination Stations appointed, Te Awamutu and Halcombe Districts.

ONSLOW, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Public Health Act, 1876," I, William Hillier, Earl of
Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several places mentioned in the second
column of the Schedule hereto as and to be the places at which the Public Vaccinators appointed for the respective
districts mentioned in the first column of the said Schedule shall attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by
the said Act; and I do hereby give notice that each such Public Vaccinator will attend at the respective places aforesaid,
for the purpose of performing such vaccination, on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said
Schedule opposite the name of each such place; and, further, that at each such place as last aforesaid the Public
Vaccinator will attend, for the purpose of inspecting the progress of such vaccination in the persons so vaccinated, on
the days and at the hours respectively set forth in the fourth column of the said Schedule opposite the name of each
such place.

SCHEDULE.

Halcombe.. The office of Mr. Purkiss, Registrar of Births and Deaths, Halcombe First Saturday in February, May, August, and November, from noon until 1 p.m. Second Saturday in February, May, August, and November, from noon until 1 p.m.

and eighty-nine.

Postmasters appointed to take and receive Statutory
Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the
eighth section of "The Justices of the Peace Act
Amendment Act, 1888," I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify
and declare that the persons named in the Schedule hereto,
being persons holding the office of Postmaster under "The
Post Office Act, 1881," at the places set opposite their names
respectively in the said Schedule, are authorised to take and
receive statutory declarations under the two hundred and
thirty-fourth section of "The Justices of the Peace Act,
1882."

Additional Money-order Regulations.

WHEREAS by section seven of "The Post Office
Act, 1881," it is, among other things, provided that
the Governor may from time to time make regulations to
be applicable within the colony, and may make, or cause to
be made, arrangements with the constituted authorities in
England, or in any of Her Majesty's colonies or possessions,
or in any foreign country, for the transmission, through the
medium of the post, of any money to or from any place
whatsoever, and for the delivery and payment of the same,
and may establish rates of payment for such transmission,
and may make such regulations as may be expedient or
necessary for carrying such arrangements into effect:

Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the
hereinbefore in part recited Act, do hereby make the following
regulations, that is to say, —

  1. On and after the 24th day of June, 1889, any single
    money-order may be issued in New Zealand, for payment in
    the United States of America, of a sum not exceeding twenty
    pounds sterling; and any money-order issued in the United
    States of America, for payment in New Zealand, of a sum
    not exceeding twenty pounds ten shillings and eightpence
    sterling (one hundred dollars of the currency of the United
    States of America) may be paid in New Zealand.

  2. The commission to be charged on every money-order
    issued in New Zealand for transmission to, and payment in,
    the United States of America shall be--

Exceeding £2, but not exceeding £4 2 6
" 4, but not exceeding £6 3 6
" 6, but not exceeding £8 4 6
" 8, but not exceeding £10 5 6
" 10, but not exceeding £12 7 0
" 12, but not exceeding £14 8 0
" 14, but not exceeding £16 9 0
" 16, but not exceeding £18 10 0
" 18, but not exceeding £20 11 0

And the rates of payment above set forth are hereby esta-
blished accordingly.

  1. The general regulations for the time being in force
    within the colony, and applicable to the issue and payment
    of post office money-orders, shall, within the said colony,
    extend and apply to the money-orders the issue and pay-
    ment of which are sanctioned by the regulations herein-
    before set forth.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

Onslow in the County of Salop; Viscount Cranley,
of Cranley in the County of Surrey; Baron
Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop, and
of West Clandon in the County of Surrey; Baron
Cranley, of Imbercourt; Baronet; a Member of
Her Majesty's Most Honourable Privy Council;
Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished
Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Go-
vernor and Commander-in-Chief in and over
Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same;
and issued under the Seal of the said Colony,
at the Government House, at Wellington, this
fourteenth day of May, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine.
