Crown Lands Notices.

Sale of Town, Suburban, and Rural Leaseholdings, Land
District of Auckland.—Township of Rotorua, Hot Lakes
District.

Crown Lands Office,
Auckland, 26th February, 1889.

IT is hereby notified that the town, suburban, and rural
lands described in the Schedule hereunder will, in pur-
suance of "The Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1881," be
offered for lease by public auction, for the term of ninety-
nine years, at this office on the 29th March, 1889, at the
hour of 11 o'clock in the forenoon.

Sale of Land by Public Auction, Town of Denniston.

Nelson, 21st February, 1889.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned allot-
ments of land will be offered for sale by public auction,
at the Denniston Hall, Denniston, on Saturday, the 20th
April, at 11 o'clock a.m.

One-fifth part of the purchase money must be paid at the
time of sale, and the remaining four-fifths within thirty days
next after the time of such sale, otherwise the amount so
paid as aforesaid shall be forfeited, and the contract for the
sale of the land shall thenceforward be null and void.

Terms of Sale : Rents payable half-yearly in advance.
The first half-year to be paid on the day of sale.
All mineral waters, hot-springs, and streams are and re-
main vested in the Crown.
Building sites, peculiarly suitable for residences, will be
let subject to restrictions as to use for trades or shops.
All hotels and lodging-houses will be governed by regula-
tions suitable to the exceptional character and requirements
of the town.
Rents to be paid half-yearly in Auckland or in the town,
as may be found convenient.
Possession of the lands will be given immediately after the
auction. The lots may be identified on the ground by
marked pegs.
