Tenders for Leasing, Canterbury Land District.

Crown Lands Office,
Christchurch, 14th February, 1889.

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders for the
perpetual lease of the under-mentioned sections, under
Part IV. of "The Land Act, 1885," will be received at the
Land Office, Christchurch, up to five p.m. on Tuesday, the
19th March, 1889. Every tender must be accompanied by a
declaration, six months' rent at the rate offered, and a lease-
fee of £1 10s. Should there be two or more tenders of the
same amount for the section, the right to occupy will be
decided by lot. Plans may be seen, and tender-forms and
particulars obtained, at the Land Offices, Christchurch and
Timaru:-

Reserve 349, Orari V.S. No. 2, Belfield: Lots 13, 14, 42,
55, 54 acres and 32 perches. Upset annual rental, £13 11s.

Tenders for Grazing, Canterbury Land District.

Crown Lands Office,
Christchurch, 18th February, 1889.

NOTICE is hereby given that tenders for the occupation,
for grazing purposes only, under section 25 of "The
Public Reserves Act, 1881," of the under-mentioned reserve,
will be received at this office up to five p.m. on Friday, the
22nd March, 1889. Every tender must be accompanied by
marked cheque or post-office order for six months and one
week's rent up to the 1st October, 1889, at the rate tendered.
The license will be annually renewed by the Land Board
for a period of seven years, unless the land is specially
required by Government for other purposes. Plans may be
seen at the Land Office, Christchurch:-

Part Reserve 2765, 42 acres. Upset annual rental, £1 1s.
Situated on the south branch of the Ashburton River, at the
junction of the Ashburton Forks and Hussey's Roads, and
two and a half miles from Greenstreet Post Office.
