Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the
seventeenth section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of all
other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby declare
that the lands enumerated in the first column of the Schedule
hereto shall be and the same are hereby reserved for the pur-
pose stated opposite to the description of such land in the
second column hereto, for the benefit of the Town of Aro-
whenua, as constituted under the provisions of "The Town
Districts Act, 1881," on the twenty-first day of July, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-six.

in the Land Districts of Auckland, Wellington, Otago, and
Southland, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for
the purposes in the said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being
Allotment No. 107 of Section No. 1, Parish of Opaheke.
Bounded towards the north by Allotment No. 34, 223 links;
towards the east by a stream; towards the south generally
by a road-line, 620 and 137 links respectively; and towards
the west generally by Allotment No. 35, 525, 46, and 500
links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less. For a quarry.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods 23 perches,
more or less, being Section No. 67B of the Parish of Parahaki.
Bounded generally towards the north and east by a road,
330, 278, 409, 214, 263, and 248 links on the south by
Section No. 67A of the Parish of Parahaki aforesaid, 1145
links; and on the west by a road, 1115 links: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less. For a cemetery.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 27 perches,
more or less, situate in the Takahue Survey District, in the
County of Mangonui, being Section No. 6A of Block XV. of
the said survey district. Bounded generally towards the
north-west, north-east, and south-east by the Takahue
River; towards the south by Section No. 6 of Block XV.
aforesaid, 255 links; and towards the south-west by the
crossing of a road and by Section No. 3 of Block XV. afore-
said, 105 and 248 links respectively: save and except there-
out a road, 100 links wide, intersecting the land above
described; be the said several admeasurements a little more
or less. For a recreation reserve.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland,
containing by admeasurement 13 acres 3 roods 4 perches,
more or less, situate in the Survey District of Maketu, in
the County of Tauranga, being Section No. 50 of Block II.
of the said survey district. Bounded towards the north by
a road, 950 links; towards the west by a road, 1450 links;
towards the south by Section No. 13 of Block II. aforesaid,
950 links; and towards the west by a road, 1450 links: be
the said several admeasurements a little more or less. For
a recreation reserve.
WELLINGTON.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Wellington,
containing by admeasurement 292 acres, more or less, being
Sections Nos. 2 and 4, Block XIII., Akatarawa Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded on the north by a public road; on the east
by Section No. 6; on the south by Section No. 9; and on
the west by Section No. 31, Block X., Paikakariki Survey
District: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in
the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington. For primary
education.
OTAGO.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Otago,
containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being
Section No. 3, Block XII., Township of Kurow. Bounded
on the north by Section No. 2 of same block, 200 links; on
the east by Main Street, 125 links; on the south by Section
No. 4 of same block, 200 links; and on the west by Section
No. 1 of same block, 125 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited
in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Dunedin. For police
purposes.
All those several parcels of land in the Land District of
Otago, containing by admeasurement 13 acres and 13 perches,
more or less, situate in the Town of Pembroke, and being
Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Block XIV., Sections Nos. 1,
2, and 3 of Block XV., Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9,
10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 of Block XVI., and Sections Nos. 1,
2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 of
Block XVII. of said town. Bounded towards the north-
west by Dungannon Street 1581 links, also by Section No.
7 of Block XVI. 200 links; towards the north-east by
Macdougall Street, 1000 links; towards the south-east by
Brownston Street 1581 links, also by Section No. 7 of Block
XVI. 200 links; towards the south-west by Stone Street
875 links, also by Section No. 7 of Block XVI. 125 links:
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; and intersected by
Dunmore and Connor Streets, each 100 links wide. For
recreation.
Land temporarily reserved in the Land Districts of Auck-
land, Wellington, Otago, and Southland.
